"Au contraire"????? Really???? I like it!!!!!!!
I think I picked up the phrase from the Mupped Show years ago.
lived there for over 6 years, what a lovely town, but cold in the winter
Too cold for me.
Consistently awesome at making travel videos and finding interesting things to show. thank you!
You find the most random places to visit. I love it! 😝
They find me mostly. I appreciate the compliment!
Should have stopped by Ohio's Million Dollar Playground. Indian Lake was called Ohio's Million Dollar Playground around 1910 until about 1930. Stop by the Spillway, one of the most unique anywhere in the USA.
I’ll add it to my list. Thank you.
You find the neatest places to visit, nice one!
Thank you!
Hey Dray!! Did not know you knew how to slide on snow!!!! AWESOME!!! I have been a skier for 55 years!!! In 1987 I became a coach for the U.S. olympic freestyle team at Stratton mt V.T. Big bumps and big air!!!I Spent a lot of time in Lake Placid at the training center and also went to collage there. I also snow board and backcountry ski!!!
You have just blown me away! Thats incredible. Im much more of a boarder but I started with skis on Mad River Mtn. in Bellefontaine. Havent been on a board in years and miss it. You have an interesting life! Thanks for the comment!
So neat about the first paved street. I like seeing the highest points in the states you go to that’s pretty cool .
Highest guy in every state! Goal!
Actually one street over on the other side of the Courthouse is the first concrete street. You forgot about the shortest street in America is in B-town also.
All the information online says that it’s Court Street, the one with the statue of the creator. I didn’t explore the other side. also, I didn’t forget, I didn’t know!
This was a cool video because you taught me stuff about my city that i didnt even know and ive lived here nearly my whole life.
Good stuff. Debatable history... we may truly never know
Agreed. I suspect there is a difference in material used which makes one or the other both valid 'first streets'. Interesting that my travels took me near both of these within a few days of each other. Thanks for telling me about this historical oddity.
@@DraysWorld I'm usually pretty good for useless information 😜🤣
Come back anytime for plenty more
The neat thing with Campbell Hill and Court Street is you're less than 80 miles away to Hoosier Hill, the highest point in Indiana.
And just over the border from that hill is Rich Mullins' grave in Hollansburg, a 4 mile trip to Hollansburg Cemetery.
P.S.!! I started skiing when I was 3. LOL!
First time in high school, last time was 2007. If I ever get the opportunity, I think reacquainting myself would make for a good video subject.
Let me know if you head to upstate N.Y.!!! Good hometown breweries!!!
