Thanks, Mizz. This is great. Also worth noting is that Flamethrower is now a weaponskill (where before it wasn't), which means that it'll contribute to the potency of new Wildfire's detonation. **EDIT**: I posted this before I found out that Flamethrower is now on the GCD (which it wasn't in Stormblood), so it won't be useful for the purposes of increasing WF's potency - Heat Blast's (or whatever it's called) 1.5sec GCD makes it a better choice during Overheat.
OHHHHH! Oh my gosh it makes so much sense now. Thank you for pointing it out! At first glance, compared to Spread Shot, FT looked to me like a less efficient form of AoE spam. But if it does interact with Wildfire, that changes everything. If its damage ticks more frequently than gcd, it would make it the best way to stack Wildfire. On the other hand... regular weaponskills still have a lot more inherent potency thanks to the combo bonuses and the ability to weave in ogcds, which we'll have 6 charges of. Hmm... We'll have to see. I guess it all hinges on FT's tickrate and whether the potencies change before release.
I wouldn't count on Flamethrower triggering Wildfire more than once though...the tooltip isn't quite clear on that ("every weaponskill landed" could mean everytime it deals damage or every individual skill use). At the very least it seems far too easy to do, it would take all the strategy out of WF.
@@FreshestSoup Yah I think you're right. Considering that, I... don't really think Flamethrower has a purpose anymore. If it can't proc wildfire stacks, can't generate heat and if it can't outdamage Spreadshot, what is it even still there for? Perhaps they do have a plan for it but it didn't make it into the Media Tour build. That's the only explanation I have.
I like how you present the abilities because I get to see all of the abilities at once instead of just screenshots. Give insight into how the class grows as the job is leveled. As lets me figure out how to hotbar hella early, lmao!
The heated actions are all wrong in this video. All of them currently in SB are learned at Lv64. So Heated Split and Slug Shot should say (Down from Lv64), not (Up from Lv50). Heated Clean Shot shouldn't say anything, as it's in the exact level it was learned in SB, so (Up from Lv50) should just not be there.
It may be low effort, but sometimes it's just soothing to not hear commentary and just see the tooltips for yourself whilst listening to some relaxing music. I like to watch these type of vids, as I did back when MTQ also released the SB tooltips. I watch both commentaries and the MTQ's vids.
She is not one to belabor the point or get too much into her own opinions. I much prefer her raid guides because they use quality video, on-screen text with voice, and no blather.
Air Anchor - Crosses with Culinary Skills to deliver a delicious Batter Gauge!

@@FreshestSoup I agree, yeah. At most I think it contributes one to the weaponskill count.
Flamethrower is strictly for AOE. Do not use it for Wildfire

New skills are the same as Edgar'sTools command ♥♥♥
And after an injection of FF6, machinist seems really cool.
38.60 second recast on hotshot? What a crazy cd number.
I'd assume that's 40 base CD, with it being reduced by whatever skill speed was on the gear they had.
That's the 3rd new job for shadowbringers. RIP old mch. You will not be missed.
oooh i like Tactician. Also will you be doing these vids for the healer changes as well?
Dylan Rothganger how? Literally a worse dismantle cus it’s double the cd when dismantle was 10% damage reduction every 60 seconds.
oh i did not catch that they took away dismantle.
I love it so much
How would u be able to use Detonator if u can't put it in the hot bar?
The Wildfire button will transform to Detonator while it's active.
Guess I have to re-learn the new rotation in SB

Of all the vids I've seen so far, I think MTQ's are the most low-effort lmao
i like how simple they are it makes it easy to retain the info of whats changed
