We started our Journey from Coimbatore International Airport and reached Delhi via Air India Flight and traveled from Delhi to Haridwar via Mussoorie Express.

Good Morning from Haridwar !!!
🚗 We reached Haridwar at 6.30Am in the Morning. We already booked a taxi for 5 days with Bizarre Expedition for Rs.17500. The pickup point is from Haridwar Railway Station - Kedarnath - Badrinath - Back to Haridwar. We started our Journey.
Then we had our Breakfast at Rasoi Dhaba on Rishikesh Road in Haridwar.
🏞️ Scenic Stopovers:
Our journey is punctuated with stops at hidden gems like Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and DhariDevi Temple - confluences of sacred rivers
Only Devprayag and Rudraprayag are on the way to Kedarnath and the other three prayers are on the way to Badrinath
If you are traveling to Badrinath directly from Haridwar, then you will be able to see all the Panch Prayags
Prayag or Sangam is a confluence of two or more rivers.
The most famous of Sangams or Prayags in India is Prayagraj where the holy Ganges meets Yamuna and mythical Saraswati.
The Panch Prayags consist of Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag, in the descending flow sequence of their occurrence.
One can visit all five Prayags on the way to Badrinath from Haridwar/ Rishikesh.
Devprayag:
The First Prayag u will visit on the way from Haridwar/Rishikesh towards Badrinath/Kedarnath will be Devprayag. It is the confluence of two heavenly rivers, Bhagirathi and Alaknanda.
Rudraprayag:
After you proceed from Devprayag towards Badrinath/ Kedarnath, the second Prayag you will visit is Rudraprayag, abt 70 km from Devprayag. On the way, you will cross the town of Srinagar.
At Rudraprayag, Alaknanda is joined by the river Mandakini, which originates near Kedarnath.
From Rudraprayag, the routes for Kedarnath and Badrinath are separate.
Dhari Devi Temple
A revered temple, it is dedicated to Dhari Devi (a form of Goddess Kali), who is considered to be the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and is worshipped as the protector of the Char Dhams.

We reached Sonprayag around 6.30PM after 10 hrs travel and we packed the winter clothes along with the necessary clothes in a small bag leaving our travel suitcases in the car itself.
We booked our room in Gaurikund with Hotel Gayathri - Quite a decent room inside on the foot trek path to Kedarnath from Gaurikund. You can book Hotel Gaythri Gaurikund by clicking on the link hotel-gayatri-gaurikund.busin...
They don’t take bookings via the website. Kindly call them on this number - 9557181705. They asked Rs.2000 as advance via pay and they confirmed the room. Then we transferred Rs.2000 after checking in to the room. This room is located on the Kedarnath foot trek path of Gaurikund.
Gaurikund is located 5 to 6 km from Sonprayag. The yatris vehicles are allowed till sonprayag only. You have to take a Public Jeep service from Sonprayag to reach Gaurikund.
