4 of those picks were off wr's hand, 4 were bad wr routes, 1 his arm was hit by DE, Josh Sweat was just an out of this world snag and 5 were all on him.
Everybody says dak is overrated and over paid. He had 2 more passing TDS, 5 less picks and passer rating 10 higher than Josh Allen in the 2021 campaign. Sure he had a down year, but that doesn’t he won’t ever be good again. Yet people still think he is overrated. He is also coming off of a thumb injury which have led to some bad throws. Hopefully he can have a bounce back season and shut up the haters.

NINE of these FIFTEEN picks game with less than half of the second quarter remaining. It's uncanny. I truly think Dak was instructed by coaches to be aggressive closing out the first half.
In seasons where Dak has played double digit games, he has a winning record, whether or not he was leading in ints, he’s still a really solid QB.

There were 2 drops, and one of those was a contested ball, the rest were bad passes that the receivers just managed to touch.
@@RagnarokMic well Ceedee did cut his route wrong on the second Green Bay one, Ceedee got no called pass interfered on the second giants one and the ball tipped to the defense, Michael Gallup fell on the pick by Stephon Gilimore, Noah Brown completely tipped the ball in the air in the first one against Houston, and Dak got hit while throwing on the second one Vs Houston, the game winning jags pick six was because Noah brown basically gave the ball to the defense, and the first one to Kevin Byard was a horrible tip by Hendershot. Instead of blaming Dak, blame who was at fault for the pick. Idk why y’all hate Dak so much. He’s arguably the nicest player of all time and a good qb but no one wants to admit it or give him any credit. It’s just annoying how cruel everyone is to him.

Too many excuses for Dak..people say you don’t know football. Well here’s the fact that my eyes haven’t failed me with a lot more complex situations in life. It’s not rocket science to see that if if we blame two of ceedee on ceedee running wrong route then we also have to assume dak doesvmnt care to have a number one bc he would’ve been blown up. Ceedee isn’t a slot receiver and sailing him out to injury is bs in Daks part. That’s means dak passes for 1400 less yards bc ceedee is gone. Then we blame bad decisions on the line, tight end, etc. what about Daks missed points where he underthrows a walk in touchdown bc ball was underthrown? Do we get to take those away from him?

His receiving corps really let him down this year... there's a reason Dallas desperately acquires FA and drafted TEs and WRs.... because their current pass catchers are not as good as many would have you believe. So lets go over them all, I will say I'm a cowboys fan, but not really a DAK fan, but lets go over it.
TB Antoine Winfield: Alot of pressure to dak on this one, but overall bad throw, -1 for dak here. Pretty much his fault.
CHI eddy Jackson: I could see an argument that CD couldve played the ball more, but no this was Daks fault, ball was thrown precisely where the DB could make a run at it and contest for a pretty easy pick. -1 again for Dak.
GB Rudy Ford #1: I mean, talk about route all you want, Dak throws this into an area with like 4 DBs, and he definetely threw it at the DB more than the WR. -1 for Dak, not giving him the benefit of the doubt.
GB Rudy ford #2: This was the route being run correctly, and dak just throws the ball low, and because he eyed CD the whole time, Ford was completely ready and was expecting the ball. I WILL SAY however, the announcer seems to confuse what looks like a post route with a flat route, but there is some credit, and I think the coverage was rather well called. I really don't want to put this one on Dak because it seems more like a playcalling issue, but nonetheless I dont want to seem like im cutting Dak slack, so -1 again for Dak ;-;
NYG Williams #1: Reciever seems to have slipped on the route, and ALOT of pressure gets to Dak quickly, so of course hes going to throw to the comeback. The DB does make a good play being ready for the comeback route. I dont really think this one is on Dak, so +1 dak (+1 just means im tallying which were and were not his fault, not saying he did something good here.)
NYG Julian Love #2: First time it very obviously wasn't Daks fault. CD Gets hit with the ball and it bounces. Do think you probably want to avoid triple covered receivers, but its 3rd and 15 and it seems like the playcall only had one receiver near first down range. Bad play calling by really any metric, and bounces out of WRs hands. +1 Dak.
IND Stephon Gilmore: Wow, current cowboys picking off Dak lmao. Looks like there could've been DPI, but refs didnt call it so IDK, but what I do know is the receiver slipped, so if there wasnt DPI, the receiver did a terrible job. Either way, hard to say its Daks fault. Looks like it couldve been thrown better, but for the above reasons, +1 Dak.
HOU Trevon Smith #1: I mean its literally out of the hands of the WR when hes open. +1 Dak. Also this is probably the fastest I've seen Zeke run in years.
HOU Trevon smith #2: Whats going on here?! He just launches it at the DB. To Daks credit, hes in the endzone, a safety here probably loses the game, and an interception may actually be better for the team because, like what actually happened, the defense holds them to the 3 and they cant run the clock out cuz their close to the end zone. Still, interception was Daks fault, even if it was a better move than getting Sacked. -1 Dak.
JAC Jenkins #1: It looks like it was tipped because dak was hit as he threw it, but just throw it out Dak. No WR in the area, and if it was meant for Shultz here, crazy overthrown. Just throw it out. -1 Dak.
JAC Jenkins #2: I mean, cmon. Every dallas fan has seen the still image of it literally inside the basket with Noah Brown here. Completely Noah Browns fault. +1 Dak.
PHI Sweat: Good play by sweat here to put his hands up like that, probably shouldn't be throwing the ball with someone in the perfect range between you and the ball. Sometimes a QB can get away with this, but clearly Dak did not. Crappy tackle too but hes a QB what do you expect. Atleast it wasn't a mac jones vs chandler jones moment. -1 Dak.
TEN Kevin myer #1: Completley juggled by the TE, all on Ferguson here. +1 Dak.
TEN Kevin Myer #2: Errrrrr this is a hard one, Heavy coverage. Dak had no pressure, and while the TE could've played it more, I mean he threw it into double coverage into a bad spot on a comeback route. Textbook mistake, -1 Dak.
WAS Kendall Fuller: DB had the play read the entire time, but I mean the WR ran the route, what is he going to do. Who else do you blame other than Dak? Well, Kellen Moore, but Dak too! -1 Dak.
So our grand total........ -3! I count 9 interceptions to really blame Dak for, and 6 that weren't on Dak in any sort of way. Give or take 1 or 2, and jeez I have to feel bad for Dak. 9 Interceptions isn't bad really at all. Obviously he made some big mistakes, but when you have 6 interceptions that are very much not your fault, and several others where it was poor decision making due to bad playcalling or pressure, I can't blame Dak as much as I'd like. Just learn to throw it away Dak :D
actually crazy how many of his picks were due to poor scheming and tipped passes. genuinely uncharacteristic for the Dallas offense. typically, everyone knows where they need to be and is there; this past season though I heard so many announcers (mostly Olsen) legitimately highlighting how like half the WRs on the field were running the wrong route at least once per game lol
Dak threw 9 picks himself that was his fault. 6 that i truly say was the receivers fukk up. I believe he cleans that up. I still give him 40tds 10ints 10rushTDs
