I was in that area in January 2022. I traspass most of the village. That area has natural rivers that flow through out the season. The sand is massive and potential for irrigation

It's looks and sounds like a lot of fresh water for drinking, animals and irrigation just going straight to the ocean and destroying property and lives.

Upper Tharaka Nithi where I come from has so many areas to visit and unexplored, nowhere on Google or written material. Look for a book written by Kitheka Wa Mberia 'From Homeguard to MauMau'. The story which I normally presume to be very true since my grandfather used to tell me stories never documented anywhere starts in my village.
