The SCS trial procedure takes around an hour and the leads are left in for 7 days. You will report your amount of relief received and then the physician will determine if a SCS placement would be suitable for you.
I had the permanent one put in my back. At first it didnt seem to work. I kept messing with the different settings. My wife saw me trying to set it and said give me the remote. I gave it to her and right off the bat she set it and it works perfect. The only pain i have now is from the staples in my back.
How long is the trial period?
