- We take the trek through Michigan to visit Sugarbush Supplies, Dale Forrester and across the Upper Peninsula to Wisconsin and Sippl Sugarbush. One of the greatest things we get to do is visit farmers and their sugarhouses. A big thanks to Sugarbush Supplies, Dale Forrester at Maple Dale Farm and Andy and Kourtney at Sippl Sugarbush. We have several sugarhouse visits complete and several more in our future!

I think Fred needs a Texas Hot lunch. Your road trips with Fred are awesome. Every sugarhouse is unique. Bring on some Dan Baney.
New pinned comment! Dan is a character. We used to play music together in college. Very talented musician. We will sneak some more Dan Baney in there soon.
Cutting board should be on the way, Mark.
Hey nate, glad to see you made it to the U.P.. i like your channel. We have a couple things in common, we both make syrup and have wm hm130's. When you made the stop in Marquette, you were only about 30 miles from my place.
Ha! We do have some things in common. We just ordered the power up/down. Love it. Shoukd have done it a while ago. I like that new mill with the Honda engine and wider cut. It's sweet.
Awesome to see these sugarhouses that i've heard about thru your tours!
It was great meeting you at leader's open house! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks for watching the channel!
You and Fred go on the neatest roadtrips!
I wish we started taking video 10 years ago. It has been quite the journey.
Keep up the good works.
This video popped up on my feed and I saw that Dale Forrester was in it. He’s the man who got all of us hooked on making maple syrup up here in Jackman. Great video fun to watch, always good to hear what Dale has to say.
Thanks for watching the channel! Dale is a maple celebrity from what I can tell! The guy is transparent and honest. I like him. I think Dale and I will be working together for many years.
I hope to get up to Jackman and visit some sugarhouses. I think it would be cool to see and share.
Yup Dale is one of the big guys as far as promoting maple syrup is concerned. We are always happy to show off our sugarhouse and woods.
@@Sawyersmaple I'm in!
I see that Fred still drank the coffee even though he was playing tough
Fred only drinks, in his words, "American coffee"
Wow these are some pretty expensive looking setups😁
My wife’s family’s sorghum operation has a steam evaporator that is generated by a wood fired boiler

Just tell me when and where - I will be there! I'm watching sorghum videos right now. It is fascinating. I'd like to catch up with you, Jared. Shoot me an email at bissellonyt@gmail.com - I'd love to pick your brain on some things.

@@BissellMapleFarm Chris Barr is my name I’ve been following you this past year I like all your Videos. I’m the guy that mentioned Milwaukee makes a heat gun so when your valves freeze up. I’ve been making maple syrup for about ten years small amounts next year I’m stepping up my game with a more efficient evaporator and looking at filling my first barrel or two nothing like you guys. Every year I grow my operating.
I’m 50 and this is my spring hobby for now. See what the future brings
@@Chris-oe4gq I remember the 18V heat gun. Thanks for supporting the channel.
