- If you're looking for an ergonomic rotary cutter, I may have found what you're seeking. Check out my honest review of the TrueCut My Comfort Cutter by Made by Grace. I was not paid to record this video nor did I receive this product for free. I simply fell for an Instagram ad and thought I'd share details about the product from the standpoint of a sewist who deals with chronic pain. I hope this is helpful.
You can find this rotary cutter at graceframe.com/.

I Love mine.. got them in 60 and 45mm.
You did? How long have you had them. I want the smaller one. I may need to buy it today.
Do you have the ruler that comes with it?
@@Karen626 No. It didn’t come with a ruler. It was just the cutter.
@@kazconadesigns I mean the ruler that they MARKET with it. Supposed to keep the cutter on track, but it sounds like that attachment works with any ruler.
@@Karen626 Oh! I haven’t seen that. The cutter does come with a ruler guide though. It’s a plastic wheel that glides on top of the ruler. You can see it in the video.
Thank you so much for your video and demonstration. I had been wanting this cutter for some time but did not want to spend the money for it. When I saw the ad on Facebook, I jumped on it. I also have Fibro. In addition I have bad arthritis and carpel tunnel so that is why I wanted this cutter. I have loved it. Yesterday I was trying to change the blade and the part where you push the button to pop the blade out came off and I have been having a devil of a time trying to get that back on. Today after seeing your video, I now know how it is supposed to go back together and can get on with it. Thanks again! Blessings
I’m so glad it helped! I also bought the smaller one and use that mostly for cutting out patterns with curves or other smaller details. I haven’t used any other rotary cutter since.
Awesome!! That looks so easy to use. Thank you for the infomercial.
You’re welcome!
Hi! I'm so glad you are loving Grace's comfort cutter! Can we feature parts of this video on our social media?
Of course. Feel free. I just purchased your small one too and will be recording a review of it. It’s fantastic!
That’s so cool
It really is! I just ordered the smaller one today.
Thank you for this video tutorial. I've had this cutter for several months but haven't used it but now I will thanks to you. Question: Is it necessary to use the Ruler Grace Company is promoting or can I use the Rulers I already have? Again, thank you!!!
You’re welcome! You can use any ruler with it. I don’t have the rules from them and it works great for me!
Not gonna lie I would/will probably buy 2 and just use one with rulers and one without…
I have a small one and then a regular sized one. I use the small one to cut out patterns and the other for straight lines.
I use a Martinelli ergonomic cutter. I have a hard time with rotary cutting accurately due to carpal tunnel
Isn’t it great? It’s much easier on my hands!
Thanks for your review. Does it take other brand blades, like Olfa, fr. ex.? Or do you have to use TruCut blades?
You know, I’m not sure. It looks like it would take any blade. I’ll need to see if others work with it. The opening in the blade seems to be the same as my others.
The amount of pressure I suppose depends on how sharp the blade is. Once the blade is getting dull. You probably need more pressure or do you?
I’ve been using this rotary cutter non stop and I haven’t had to apply more pressure unless I’m cutting through thick vinyl. I also have a smaller one too and it’s also been really great.
Can any cutter guide be used with any ruler?
I would think so. I’ve been using it with acrylic quilting rulers.
