Every so often there comes a weapon that breaks the mold. The Tiberon Prime is such a weapon, with its three fire mods and a riven disposition of five out of five this is one of the best if not the best Assault Rifle in the game currently.

LeyzarGamingViews Hopefully it’s just a disposition nerf, because without a riven it’s in a very solid place well deserving of its MR. But with a riven? Why use anything else.
I just dont care for the feel of it, and low a mag size. Not very fun to use

I love assault rifles and recently got this one. I don’t care about the power, I care about being able to use whatever mode I feel like using and this weapon fits that mold perfectly

I'd consider fully semi-automatic mode if it came in a charged single shot configuration with burst duplex pump-action.

Hey, after I saw your like for my first comment, I edited it with some napkin maths. Looks like primed cryo will be almost double the damage to Eidolons of a single 60/60 heat or electric. Of course those mods have additional status that can help out in many situations, but makes no difference for the Eidolons.
Assuming 100 base damage on the weapon and vs alloy armor, primed cryo will add 165*1.25=206 cold, a cryo will add 90*1.25=113 cold, and a 60/60 would add 60*1.75=105 radiation.
I think my understanding of how the multiplyers work is correct, pleas, someone correct me if I am wrong, because I am still pretty new to figuring out damage.

If anyone cares: The Riven disposition seems to have dropped from 5 to 4, probably because the Tiberon Prime became popular. The starting disposition was 5 based on the unpopularity of the original Tiberon (which it shares rivens with).
The original Tiberon was originally an MR 4 that was rebalanced as an MR 10 weapon during update 22 hotfixes. Its reputation as being a beginner gun probably made it unpopular even after the rebalance happened, hence why the disposition would be so high.
I think that assault rifles need a rework. Don't get me wrong, I love tiberon prime it's probably my favorite assault rifle but when it comes to efficiency i'd rather pick my amprex or my hek that will kill high level enemies a lot faster
ARs are a compromise between CC and sinle target.

They definitely need a rework. I use my Tiberon Prime on auto mode most of the time, but that mode falls short against high level bombards and heavy gunners. It needs to have a higher Crit chance and multiplier for the full auto mode.

I farmed this weapon after hearing how much better it is than soma. I'm not even mr 14 yet but I've been grinding xD thank you for this guide, I have all these mods, even the super expensive ones. Tiberon is also a lazer beam, not much recoil as far as I can see

Fanged Fusillade definitely not. Look at the puny damage increase it gets. I'd recommend Hammer Shot, since you already have massive crit multiplier in Burst and Semi and basically every shot is a crit. Plus some extra status so you don't need those 60/60 mods and can go for a 90% instead.
Selmokk hammer shot is kinda garbage. Also the damage increase appeared small because he took off some damage mods then added more with FF. When you are making a build for slash procs, higher slash damage is very useful.
Excited to try out my +175% damage and +175% crit chance riven mod on this
This gun + Sicarus Prime with a riven + Gram prime On a Nezha is my go to loadout

High Voltage took me ~5 tries to get. Shell Shock on the other hand...... ~45 runs and I gave up and bought it.

@11:42 I am mostly sure fange fuselage only increases the slash proc chance but not the slash proc damage. only base damage and crit affect slash proc damage.
Tested and confirmed. Adding % Slash will not add any damage at all to the slash procs.

Yo layzer Is Boltor Prime good with viral since puncture already does 50% extra dmg to heavily armored targets? In testing it works as I feel if I used corrosive it would over strip and boom bonus gone. Tell me your thoughts.

after update 26.0 i added ammo drum in exilus mod slot. now thats a weapon :D
Quick Tip: I got the vigilante set bonus only using one mod. The others are in the sentinel weapon that I don't use but the stats carry somehow.

Great video! Keep up the great work. I am new-ish to warframe (MR8, +140hrs) and I have a riven that I am unsure if it's good. It has 3 positive damage bonuses and 1 negative. It has +83% recoil for the vectis. Is it bad enough for me to re-roll? Love to hear any thoughts on it. I can't test it since it's MR locked at 14.

As for your vectis riven... it really depends on what are those pluses. The Negative Recoil is fine, you can handle it on the vectis. In any case you should hold on to it since Vectis rivens are expensive
LeyzarGamingViews, thank you for the info. I am actually playing now and checked. At max rank, it will have: +169.6% damage, +78.9% electricity, +120.2% crit damage, and actually +70.8% recoil. I am interested in keeping it but I simply don't know. I am working towards solo eidolon hunting and I see alot of people using snipers. I guess I will wait and see. Thanks again for your time.
That is actually pretty good.
Electricity is the ideal element as it is versatile, you can build Radiation and Corrosive with it. The recoil is not an ideal negative but you can work with it. As for damage and crit damage that is pure awesome.

using the standard build, when do i use each mode? from what i got from the video, auto seems to be bad overall, and mainly switch between burst and semi. but when do i switch? any help would be appreciated thank you

hi i got a realy good riven my tiberon prime yesterday with multishot crd,cc and its so aweasomebut i investet mutch kuvva to roll it but it was worth it but as you said so mutch firepower is good in endurance runs but thats it for the normal stuff on the star char you dont need so mutch firepower

Imo you should keep it/ make it and have fun with it. It's not worth that much anymore anyway. When it was new you could have gotten some nice plat for a full set
I don’t even use guns anymore I kill enemies so much quicker using kripath it’s just for fun or for certain scenarios like doing an ash strip build with zarr or doing index I want to keep distance so I use plasmor

Is it worth using the weapon exilus slot on this weapon? If so, what would you recommend?
Sadly all the assault rifles are sub par these days, with the way the power creep has been weapons like the Karak, Soma, Supra, Gorgon and their variants all have major issues even when it comes to level30-40 enemies. The assault rifles class in general needs a buff, rework, looked at. There's no way DE is happy with where these weapons all sit at. Especially when many Secondary Weapons beat them out right in terms of damage and scaling.
how good is a tib riven with cc cd ms but -dm? wouldnt serration and heavy caliber negate the -dm?

Sorry if this is a late comment, would you recommend using your HM based build but with Malignant Force and Primed Cyro Rounds?
As long as you get consistent viral procs then the extra dmg from from primed cryo rounds will prove a DPS increase.

You will need to keep running fissure missions and opening your fissures that have the weapons components and hope they drop

I got a tiberon riven with +cc cd ms for my synapse riven that had +cc ms cold and -dmg to infested i bought for 150p. So close to a groll

Leyzar i need your help! I got a Riven for the tiberon with - 122 recoil +212 damage +200 crit chance but -92 status chance how should i build?
Damage and crit chance is nice but the minus status chance does hurt the weapon a bit. I'd re-roll that

I rolled a tiberon riven with 322% dmg/ 261% CC/ - 95% CD. This a tough one to swallow know that I have that 322 dmg!! But - CD. My C multiplier is still at 3.+ %. Is this a trash role ?
