Putting more than the recommended 3oz, an equivalent in ml would have been nice, does cause issues and doesn't remove all the air but for small projects it is good.
On how it works, the motor causes a vacuum which the resin and air held within it try to fill. When the cap is released at the end of the process the air pressure is normalised allowing the resin to fall back whilst the air it held mixes with the air allowed in through the vent.
I just purchased me one. Thank you
I love your videos. Thank you
You’re very welcome, I hope you enjoy it!
Oh wow! That was really cool! Thanks!
That’s really cool! Do they have a “max fill” line on the cup so it doesn’t overflow when it expands?
That’s a REALLY good suggestion! They don’t have one, but they should.
When you demolded the square look like it had bubbles in the finish squared.
There were a few that came to the top during the curing process overnight, but nothing compared to how much there were before.
Damn!! This is Magical 😳❤️
please help. I have never used resin. I need to use volume instead of measurments. This is for a canvas pour. I just can not figure out the amount of volume I need.
you can buy vaccume chamber kits (vessel, hoses, and pump) for lower cost and its not all in one so you can replace just 1 component if something fails. and they pull a much better vaccume. Not a wise purchase
does a microwave do the same?
My big question is, does it work as well as a pressure pot?
The question is does it hold up as well as other vacuum machines. A pressure pot and a vacuum chamber are used for two different things.
