- On July 28, 2012, Hindu Jagarana Vedike members assaulted 13 youth and molested women at a homestay in Karnataka’s Mangaluru. The assault, caught on video, led to national outrage and protests. This came after a series of similar incidents, including the 2009 Mangaluru pub attack.
The victims of the violence by the right-wing outfit members lodged complaints and identified the attackers in court, with the videos of the incident as proof. But over 12 years later, the court acquitted all the accused on August 6.
The News Minute’s Pooja Prasanna dives into the July 2012 incident, the persons involved in the attack, and how they walked away scotfree despite evidence.

It’s become gunda Raj , in Karnataka my parents ( veteran and freedom fighter) property is occupied by thugs supported by politicians. On approaching police to file FIR , it was rejected. Later police filed false cases against us , we children couldn’t take care of our mother in her last days. We couldn’t go for work, we only got released after congress came to power.
Congress time was not crime-free, but this kind of lawless state can only be attributed to 'Gifts of BJP'.

The names of the four men accused of raping a Bengal monitor lizard in the Sahyadari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra in April 2022 are: Sandeep Tukram, Pawar Mangesh, Janardhan Kamtekar, and Akshay Sunil.



The accused were arrested after forest officials discovered a recording of the alleged gang rape on one of their mobile phones. The forest department also used CCTV footage to trace the accused.

The accused were initially granted forest department custody, but were later released on bail. The forest department is considering charging the accused under IPC Section 377, which covers unnatural offenses.

South India isn't safe, it's almost as bad as North Indian states like UP, Bihar and Delhi for residents and visitors alike.
It's a trial court. They work for executive. If case goes to high court then you can probably expect some relief.

Its quite clear, innocent will get justice or not but culprits will always get away, thank to our judiciary and the judge. No wonder why judges are falling like an applefrom a tree right on the BJP's turf. Our constitution has been met the fate of Latin language bcoz whenever there's inconsistency between Fundamental Rights and RSS ideology, RSS ideology will prevail or be made to prevail by any means necessary.When you have theocratic Judges what else can we expect. Looking at these injustices, the people of Bangladesh seems more innocent who revolted against the corrupt power and made the entire judiciary resign. Living underthe garb that we are constitutionaly protected and that there prevails a rule of law is the worst thing especially when goons as such are given free hand to take the society for ride.
