I’m so grateful for Sia returning to music. As a young person having someone like Sia to learn from really helped me overcome so many obstacles and I’m so glad she’s around for my generation and younger generations.
He buts in a lot and sometimes puts words in her mouth. I wouldn't say he was a "great" interviewer because there is way too much of his voice being heard but hey that's an opinion.
Jane Msxrayspecs lol, what you *really mean* is he has a way of getting the truth out of people and yes I agree he did a great job doing that with her. Pulled off her mask bigtime.
bob si dog omfg do you have to be in every comment section explaining why she’s a narcissist, do you not have anything better to do, we get it you dont like her, stop shouting it at everyone...
Sia I always loved you in zero 7! Hands-down you’re one of my favorite artists of all time. Beautiful calm driving may be my favorite song. I love your story because I’ve also struggled with alcohol. Being so forthcoming with your journey has made it easier for people like me to take a good look in the mirror. Keep doing what you’re doing and I can’t wait to see what you have coming out next!
I remember this interview when it was live and listening again it’s soooo good. A great interview by Howard of this beautiful soul. Great story and so talented.
@@tillytoop I have lots of help now that so many people see and confront narcissists like SIA. They are finally getting called out and being held accountable. SIA can’t even manage her own twitter - she makes her fans do it. #totalnarcmove
God I love that accent, Sia is so great, seems like such a genuine good person, I'm glad she's talked about her struggles because it shows good people can easily fall and not only bad people go through those types of struggles
26:50, 28:12 the way Howard self deprecates after he's so super sweet and sincere just kills me. You could not ask for a better interview. Also; holy shit what a voice, jesus christ
The backstory on Titanium and Wild Ones is so so fascinating. But Sia knows... The people that said money doesn't make you happy are fools. Couldnt ever imagine both songs without her but so much respect to her. ❤️❤️❤️
Sia is defo..... I can’t even think of the words. She is really something else compared to the shit that’s put out these days. She speaks to the core of all our hearts. Fuckin epic is an understatement. Sent from above ❤️❤️
Yes this was a really a wonderful interview! The only thing I would have liked to hear more about is her reasons for leaving the downtempo style she had with Zero 7 and her initial albums and if she would ever go back to that style someday. I find her earlier stuff so beautiful (Lady Croissant album is my favorite).
Its so sad to hear about er youth and past where I believe her drug and alcohol addiction came from. Despite it all it made her the smart and strong woman she is now. And I am so happy for the world we got to know her unique, kind, funny, openminded, loving heart. She is my inspiration 💜❤
Joetjoep Many artists play the victim card to bolster fan base and garner sympathy. It's very common. It's sad cuz she has many tells of being a narcissist. Always playing the victim.

For this I will always rock with you Sia, I’m so happy that you exist
So few comments for this vid - I guess Sia leaves people speechless. I only ever saw Sia perform with Crisp in my (and her) home town Adelaide in the nineties, but her natural talent was obvious then (well to me anyway, but I guess not so much for the general populous ). I was a bit sad when she left to go to Blighty, kinda though of her as a friend back then but there's no way she would remember me, not because she's a horrible person but because if your'e famous, even if it's only in your home city, you have too many 'friends' to remember.
When I first heard "Diamonds" it was obvious it was written by Sia. I didn't KNOW that, I just noticed it sounds like Sia but it's not Sia. Signature style. I dare you all to fake it ;)
I thought the same thing. When i first heard it sounded like Rihanna trying to imitate Sia. So wasnt surprised when i heard Sia wrote it with Stargate.
I lost my voice too from hypothyroidism and I actually fell into a coma due to incompetent doctors. It took me a long time to feel better and to be able to sing on key. When I heard birds set free I knew exactly what it was about.
I've had bipolar from at least 8, possibly 6, no alcohol or drugs in my life. It's a mix of having the genetic profile to be predisposed to the illness, and having a trigger that sets it off. The trigger is not always necessary from what I understand, I personally have never had triggers, I've had the most normal calm relaxed childhood. For me it's definitely in the genetic profile, my family has a multitude of psychological disorders so I'm definitely predisposed to it. My personal opinion, after 30 years of experience and an infinite amount of external information gathered through books and talking to others with bipolar, is that you need the genetic component, and from there you can develop it through a multitude of ways, triggers, which are diferently for everyone. I'm interested to find out (once they find the genetic element causing bipolar) if people can have the genetic predisposition and not become bipolar.
I never knew she did "wild ones" i should of known cause of that voice. But i didnt listen to that song much cause i don't like Flo-rida smh. She so gifted , im a big fan.

In my opinion, this was Howard’s best interview ever. This is the interview I tell people who aren’t fans to listen to. This was peak Howard when he perfected his blend of both comedy & deeper probing questions. The show sucks now & the interviews do as well. He’s gone too mainstream & tries too hard to psychoanalyze the guests.
This is the best interview someone made to Sia. I feel she was transparent in it and the interviewer was so clever but, on other hand, I think that he and the other interviewer were rude asking her if she misses vaginas now or penis when she dated women 29:35 Anyway, Sia was awesome.
