@@ETSSNIPERit's not about all cars, the fact is the v10 in this engine produces more co2 than your typical 2.0L turbo, hence the reason for downsizing
Honestly, nobody really buys the v10s and that does hurt Audi's profit margins.
I rented a 2021 model R8 last week. Was a wicked experience having the naturally aspirated V10 behind me roaring.
Should have picked a 2018 model, the Audi R8 facelift, which you just rented, is much more less loud and doesn’t gives you the same emotions…

Looks like I need to finally pull the trigger on a gen 2 R8 V10 Plus. Can't afford this GT unfortunately, but as one of the last models with a pure V10 engine any Gen 2 R8 V10 will appreciate in value over the next 10 years+.

The Audi R8 GT needs to prove itself at the Nurburgring. Similar price range as the 911 GT3 RS with a lap time of 06:44. Audi likes to make limited editions to lure people into buying their cars.
