I what a truly special guitar an indeed an heirloom to be inherited and passed down. What’s so nice though is that your using it as a tool which is very important. Soundwise what can I say other than its one of the finest woody, dry, vintage guitars I’ve heard and when strummed it has that Gibson strum sound we all love. Finger picked it’s also beautiful.

That is a guitar 3 times my age, that has aged 3 times better than I have. Love the sound and the look. It's exactly the sort of thing I would dream of owning.

Cons? You do realize that people would kill for that guitar, Right? It cost about 85 dollars when it was new. You can get more highs out of it by moving your hand a little closer to the bridge, or just sell and get a thin tone Taylor with electronics. Then you can sound just like everyone else. Incase nobody told you, that guitar is probably the best flattop Gibson built. Don't worry, be happy!

@@ZachariSmith Hi Zachari, Just to let you know, I used to have a 1941 D28 that I sold to pay some bills..mistake!!! By the way, I heard Mark Knopphler has a '38 advanced jumbo that may go to auction soon. Happy Trails.
