Do you agree with our list? Did we miss any major moments when these guys were the WORST? Let us know below, and also let us know if there are any other characters you want to see us make videos for!
Logan was a jerk then, it should have been Marty.... and i undersatnd his friend zone delema, but yeah, don't agree about him lying, always felt awkward to watch
right? i know a lot of people flinch and get angry whenever i mention it, but that's literally rape by deception. when you consent to sex under specific conditions (wearing a condom, having a VASECTOMY) and your partner lies to you about said conditions, that's incredibly fucked up! can you imagine having sex with someone who says they used protection, but in reality they were just bullshitting you? i'd feel violated, both physically and emotionally.
@@lindseydawes7719 Which is why William should not have been on this list. Not wanting to go out with someone doesn't make them a "shitty" person. And no one is owed an explanation, as to why someone doesn't want to date them.
Yea the moment this came up I was like wtf???? We go on and on about how women are not obligated to date a guy just because they like them, but we're gonna trash on this guy for not wanting to date Rory? He doesnt have to date anyone if he doesnt want to. So ridiculous.
They did mention it but I think that pressuring her to have sex, forcing himself on her as she protested needed to be fully mentioned but it will always boggle my mind how people, so many, just look over these as well as other things he did to say he was her best boyfriend & they should’ve ended up together.
Exactly! You have to right to reject someone. As long you dont offend her or Something. He just says no- Maybe shes just not his type 🤷♀️. Not everyone want a Gilmore girl
William rejecting Rory was honestly not bad. He wasn't rude about it and he didn't mock her. He should not have made the list. He should not have been even considered. Not every guy is going to fall at your feet.
I'm disappointed that you neglected to include Richard lying to Emily for nearly 40 years about having clandestine lunches with Linny Lott. That was, in my opinion, a monumental disrespect to her, and the sanctity of their marriage.
Right? But no lets put William on the list for not wanting to go out with someone he had a casual convo with in the laundry room. What a ridiculous list.
1000 times this. That was some BS behavior on Richard's part and absolutely infidelity. And how WEIRD is it that you need to maintain this relationship once a year? That's not normal. Nor was their secrecy about it to their spouses. Gross, gross, gross. I think Emily was perfectly justified in her anger and her later separation from him. He needed to be taught a lesson.
You mean Pennilyn Lott? I think Linny Lott was someone in the DAR that Emily mentioned a few times, but we never met her? I could be wrong, but Richard for sure had lunches with Pennilyn Lott.
A few things you forgot to mention: 1) Christopher's father's outburst and slut-shaming at both Lorelai and Rory in season 1 2) Richard pressuring Rory to attend the interview at Yale in season 3 3) Kirk and Taylor destroying Luke's diner and not accepting responsibility 4) Jess crashing Rory's car, putting her in hospital and running away 5) Rory's boyfriends' jealousy and possessiveness and borderline controlling behaviour 6) Zach's outburst at Brian and Lane in mid-season 5 Plenty more scenes
@@michellewidjaja4779 its not like he crashed the car on purpose. He left because he wanted to get away from Rory because he hurt her, it wasn’t the best move but I understand why he did it.
@@nightfrost1891 But the story wasn't about her, it was about another girl who really was stalking him and this vid insinuated that he was problematic just for rejecting Rory in the first place b/c "she's Rory freaking Gilmore!" To me, that's a reason not to date her tbqh
Night Frost Rory jumped to conclusion that it was about her. She pulled him aside asked privately about it but no she does the immature thing in confront him in public. If she did that she could have saved herself from the public embarrassment.
Unpopular opinion: Jason Stiles wasn't that bad. I'm a Luke fan through and through, but he was funny and really cared about Lorelai. He was willing to do anything to keep his business with Richard going, but then when it didn't work out he didn't know what to do and just took the ultimate action of suing him
Yes, I agree. What was Jason supposed to do? He gave Richard a fresh start and Richard backstabbed him. Lorelai was just waiting for a reason to dump him, IMO.
I liked Jason too! I thought he was funny, cute, and had a great job. Plus he was suportve and respectful towards Loreli l. It was Loreli that strung him along to the point he lost his job. He was basically had to sue Richard because he chased him out of the business he helped grow and ruined his reputation in the business world.
Let’s be honest about the William rejection. He had every right to reject an offer of a date with no explanation. They had just met, had a brief interaction. He didn’t owe her anything. If the roles had been reversed, and He asked her for a date, and she refused without offering an explanation, she would not have ended up on a list like this. Rejection is part of life. People don’t owe you dates because you’re a Gilmore, or a nice person, or a celebrity etc. And they don’t owe you an explanation either. Sometimes the answer is just no. Stuff like this is how ‘nice guy’ culture happens. Just because you’re nice doesn’t mean people owe you anything. 😤
i think it was he rejected her and then spread rumors, not just that he ejected her though i haven't watched in a hot minute so idk if he really did spread anything but if he did, that makes him pretty scummy but rejecting is fine, making a big deal of it and calling her a crazy obsessed stalker for just asking is not
Night Frost yea he wasn’t talking about her. He was talking another girl who was stalking him. Rory heard it from mindless gossip and assumed it was about her.
Here is the thing about that. William was nice, and Rory responded to it. He rejected politely. Since she asked him out, then she could have apologized for asking and explain he was being so nice she thought she could pay him back with a dinner or some coffee. But then that would ruin the writers see up for the other episodes of William. It could still have been written in other ways.
What do you mean Jackson impregnating Sookie against her wishes is not on this list, but a guy saying no on a date IS? Also, Christopher did try for GG.
Well, I guess that is what she gets for thinking she owns his body and forcing him to get a vasectomy. If men don't own a women's body then she doesn't own his body. I don't agree with her making that choice at all.
@@katelynrhodes5864 It wasn't about 'owning' him. She was reacting to the physical trauma of birth and he was too immature to have an adult conversation about birth control with his wife. And if it's an important issue they need to keep talking about it. He could have used protection, could have refused her. He could have told her he didn't get the vasectomy and she could go on birth control. It was just...messed up.
I think she gets some hate she doesn’t deserve. Sure she’s made mistakes but she’s be boring if she didn’t. And I thought she was always kind and caring towards her friends.
I am definitely NOT “team Christopher”, but he was NOT an absentee parent to Gigi- he did get “help” from his parents when Sherry left, but he was her primary caregiver 🤷🏻♀️
@@lauriecarson6483 He was a kid and he always stayed pretty immature (especially where Lorelai was concerned). Granted that's not a real excuse but still and he did a great job with Gigi
@@cassieosbourne7666 Lorelai was a kid too put she didn't leave. Yes, making an excuse about Chris bring s kid and not being ready he should of kept his zipper shut then. Chris wasn't a good father to Gigi until Lorelai talk to him about her being spoiled and wrecking things. He should of took responsibility with Rory took.
No mention of Zack ruining Hep Alien's showcase, or how Richard kept Emily out of the loop for 40 years about his lunches with Pennilyn Lott? Or how about when Richard attacked Dean at that dinner? Or how Taylor and Kirk faced no legal consequences for destroying the diner?
Well, um... I am normally not a big fan of Jason, but Jason suing Lorelai's dad I can see his point. It is business. After all, Richard took away everything from him. His reputation and job were taken away. I would do the same thing if I was Jason.
I can see her point tho too. Its her dad. The slightly more open and loving parent of her parents. Shes also heavily in debt with her parents still at that point i believe. She has an financial reason to step back and not be with him. Tho its a really sad reason. Her dad actually did deserve to be sues by Jason.
I totally agree.he deseevres to be sued All the while she has always been so rude and ungrateful to her parents .why only now she wants to be loyal to her fathet?
@@tengkubahariahtengkumohame4033 I agree. I think it's because she has an unhealthy attachment style. She dislikes them but fears to live her life in a way that she decides to. This litigation clearly shows that jason is his own man and can make decisions for himself and it would force her to grow up and acknowledges her own mistakes instead of blaming everything on her parents. I like lorelai but i feel she has a problem with taking responsibility
@@tengkubahariahtengkumohame4033 lorelei still values her relationship with her parents, anyone could detect that. it would destroy their relationship.
I feel they should have explained better Lorelai point of view. I understand Jason, it makes sense. Lorelai decision sounded a bit weird to me, but if they had made her explain a bit more maye it would have sounded a bit less weird
how about 10 times rory was an entitled stuck up brat. i LOVE gilmore girls but rory was not that nice and treated most of hr friends, family and bf like dirt. the fact someone dare turn her down is made out to b a crappy thing just shows how messed up some people can be with guy behaviour vs girl behaviour. sorry mojo suggesting someone is the worst for saying no to going on a date is bang out of order.
Angela Nguyen Richard’s mother was not a major character so no list could be made and truthfully, if a list were to be made about Emily, it really ought to be about Lorelai and Emily being awful to each other. I mean, Lorelai so hates her parents’ & everything associated to them she got pissed that Rory even applied to Yale since it was her father’s alma mater; she was also under the absurd notion that Rory wasn’t expected to apply to any other university but Harvard. So Emily’s being the worst can’t stand completely by itself.
I can't believe Jackson lying about his vasectomy got beat out on this list by a guy who *gasp* didn't want to go out with Rory Gilmore. I love Jackson, but that was a HORRIBLE thing for him to do. But I guess little Rory wasn't hurt by it, so no biggie.
christopher, absent parent to both of his daughters???? did you actually watch gilmore girls? GG came to live with christopher, cause his wife left him to live in paris basically leaving her daughter, chris took over as the main parent which was a learning curve for him, he talks about gg all the time.
glad to see everyone agrees that William rejecting rory shouldn't put him on the list! didn't realize we were obligated to go on dates with people we're not interested in
I loved Christopher. But sadly him being around more didn't fit the storyline. For me it always felt like Lorelai's true act of rebellion against that life. She loved Christopher but hated the life they came from, so she could never really let herself be with him, because he literally lived that life with her. He was too familiar. Too much of the life she wanted to leave behind.
mariettula As much as I prefer Luke with Lorelai, the two have a better relationship dynamic in the end. He told her IMMEDIATELY that Sherry wanted to talk to see GiGi and then Luke took forever to tell her about April.
laura marrero fabian i mean i’m not sure i really even see it as Lorelai cheating on Luke. she gave him the ultimatum and he said no. i feel like that’s the end of the relationship. she was wrong in moving on so fast but i still feel like it wasn’t cheating.
Jason has the right to sue Richard because he was in a business arrangement with him and went back on it. Lorelei breaking up with him for it (even tho she knew her dads business practices were sometimes terrible) was her own choice and in no way makes Jason a bad guy? Also rejecting someone you literally just met is not "the worst", it's just rejecting someone you don't even know. For all we know William could've had a girlfriend or been uninterested in relationships at the time.
I totally disagree on number 7, the guy has every right to reject Rory, he doesn´t even know her, situations like this happen all the time, the guy wasn´t douchey at all...he even said thanks
About #7: You know, MsMojo, it is perfectly fine to turn someone down when you've just met them! This guy was not obligated to go out on a date with Rory. Grow up, people!
what you said is true except for the "grow up" part! you must be a trashy person to insult people like that!one to say someone is wrong but call them childish? disgusting!
@@marisharifashvili6422 : Your comment is a tad hypocritical, don't you think? Isn't referring to someone as a, "trashy person," an insult as well? It's one thing to disagree with someone. But to call them a trashy person? Disgusting! Especially when you don't know a single thing about said person or their life. I stand by what I said. Here's why: It's pretty immature to claim that a guy is, "the worst," if he turns a girl down after they've just met. That is why I used the phrase, "grow up, people." I don't know about you, but I'm finished with this conversation. Bye.
I can’t believe Jackson not telling Sookie that he didn’t actually get a vasectomy and then getting her pregnant when she didn’t want that isn’t on this list but #7 is???
I feel like what Jason did was justified considering Richard walked out with all the clients. He shouldn’t be in the wrong for trying to save his career. Even if he broke up with Lorelia in the process.
6 and 7 should not be on the list. He only rejected her. They just met. He didn't owe her a date. Jason had every right to sue. Jess didn't start out as a healthy relationship and only perhaps healthy for two seconds. The cell phone thing...come on. That seems personal.
As much as Christopher wasn't my favorite, he wasn't an absentee dad to his second daughter gigi. In fact he raised her in his own after her mother abandoned them both for a few years.
I understand that Lorelai couldn't have been with Jason after him going against her father but that doesn't make him the worst person! He had every right to deal with his business in his own way, since he had no other option left! 🤦
Lets face it, out of all of Lorelai and Rory's love interests, then Max was the best. Sure he might not be Lorelai's true love, but he was incredible. Max, Zack, Dave and Jason were probably the best guys on the show. And c'mon a guy rejecting Rory, that shouldn't make this list. Perhaps he just wasn't interested in her. That dosn't make him a bad guy. If anything, Jess leaving town after Rory's graduation and never contacts her, that should make the list instead.
I kind of get why William is number seven, with the confusion and everything about the incident, but I'm confused as to why it's so bad that he rejected her? he wasn't rude about it or anything, so if someone could explain why it makes him one of the worst that'd be really helpful
It was the way he rejected her... Did he have a girlfriend? Did she say something rude or off-putting? No real explanation or elaboration or even lame excuse
Carly Edwards I get what you're saying but a rejection doesn't necessarily have to have an explanation especially if you're not close. He probably just didn't like her. He was polite about it and spared them both further awkwardness by leaving it at that. Him being on the list, and number 7, doesn't really make sense; like rejecting someone makes you a bad person or something.
@@insertname193 I don't think he deserved to be number 7... Maybe an honorable mention. Jackson being an honorable mention for lying about his vasectomy should have made the actual list
My thing with the vasectomy thing is it's played as "he never told her he didn't want to" when he tells her multiple times in the conversation that he does not want to and refuses so like, he definitely made his feelings known and Sookie still decided he just would. He very clearly tells her no
I hate how Rory's boyfriends are pitted against one another like she's some prize to be won. A lot of the time, Rory was the one who messed up the relationships. Like with Jess how she just expected him to do whatever she wanted like Dean did. She got mad when he didn't call, knowing he was working all day and instead of just going to the diner to confront him, she sat at home and resented Jess. Or like with Logan when she wrote that article mocking the rich people at the party when she was basically one of them. Also with Logan when she made fun of Logan's girl colleague Bobby for being friendly and glamorous. There is also the fact that she completely led Dean on, slept with him while he was married, and she and Lorelai actually got mad at Lindsey for being angry with Rory. I mean Rory was so entitled and she just expected everyone to adore her. She was so shocked when William rejected her because unlike everyone else, he didn't immediately fall at her feet.
William did nothing wrong he said thank you but no that is a very polite way to turn someone down he shouldn’t have to give her an explanation he wasn’t interested it happens
Jess pressuring rory was definitely no.1. He literally ran away from town without telling her goodbye let alone apologize for his abusive behaviour. To all those people saying jess changed so much i dont remember him ever even acknowledging what he did in the entire show, it's not a small incident you can just forget.
Yes thank you I love gg but this bothers me so much that everyone just loves Jess.he is just a good looking guy who reads other than that completely rude and toxic.
I have a couple disagreements: (1) That guy, while frank, had every right and was rather kind in his rejection of Rory. He does not deserve the list. (2) Luke's "ridiculous" no cell phone diner rule so COMPLETELY does not deserve to even be a dishonorable mention. It was one of my favorite parts of the show and I wish more eating establishments in real life had this policy. It's healthy, even. (3) Yes, Chris was extremely absentee in Rory's upbringing, but it is 100% false to say the same regarding Gigi. I know it was barely an offhand included comment in a bigger picture, but I give credit where credit is due. Chris gave Gigi everything. He put his true feelings on hold so that he could be there for her, not to mention Gigi's birth mother left the COUNTRY to get away from being a mother and Chris had a taste of the single dad life. The only time he left her alone was if he had to go to work (which is what 98% of parents do) or when she spent time with her mom in Paris.
I think everyone tries to blame Christopher because they think he should have been a perfect father to Rory-the-perfect. He was 16, confused, scared, even wanted to marry Lorelai. She takes off and what was he supposed to do? She rejected him & broke his heart. They were fairly similar in that Lorelai constantly ran away from things. The only difference was that he kept coming back. Rory mentioned to Lane once that she did see her dad on occasion (rarely) and he sent cards & called. But yeah mostly he was absent. I always saw it like he probably thought that when Lorelai said they didn't need anything, she was telling the truth. Maybe he didn't feel needed & maybe he didn't know how to help them or how to be a father. It's hard enough for people - in the same town - to co-parent when you don't live in the same house, let alone trying to do it when one of you lives in another city. And of course he was young & trying to figure things out. Some people talk like he's a villain but he was just confused & a train wreck. Eventually he figured it out & reached out to Rory more & was a good father to Gigi. He wasn't 'the worst'. He was written realistically. I actually think Lorelai was 'the worst' because when he does mature, it's her marrying him then giving up on the marriage immediately - at the first sign of trouble. That's how Christopher was when he was 16...but Lorelai was a grown adult doing that. Even later, we see time and again how she fails to communicate her real feelings or be the adult. Even in Season 1, Lorelai was going on about having to do laundry and it became apparent that sometimes Rory had to do her own laundry - not to teach her to be responsible but because her own mother didn't make sure she had clean clothes. Lorelai didn't even try cooking - not learning a few meals to feed her kid healthily... even if she had sucked at it, she feed her daughter crap all the time. She slept with Rory's teacher - and while I understand he was a catch, that's such an irresponsible move. When Jess first arrived in Stars Hollow - before anyone could get to know him, she made a snap judgement then gossiped around town about him being rude and because of that the entire town hated him. (Lady, he was a teenager forced to change cities, of course he might have some issues....) She was cavalier to the Chilton headmaster whenever they had concerns, which is disrespectful as they were ensuring her child had a good education....cheating on Luke with Christopher... I could go on lol
mari sharifashvili that’s a bit harsh. I’m not saying we should ban phones, but if a couple of eating places around town had this policy, it could be therapeutic; an escape. So if someone felt like being offline to enjoy spending time with someone in person, they had somewhere to go and do that in a like minded place. It’s not logical or necessary to ban phones EVERYWHERE. I hope you are doing alright, bless 👍🏼
I will never forgive the producers for completely ruining Logan's character in "A Year In The Life". He was arguably her best, most supportive relationship in the original show and she was always too selfish and entitled to deserve him.
Agree, mostly. Lol! I don't think his character was totally ruined. Not that it's okay to cheat on your partner, ever, but the guy is totally still in love with Rory and it felt like he was willing to take whatever morsels she would give him. So he was marrying for business not for love because the woman he loves wouldn't have him. (You saw the part where I cheating is not okay though right? Lol!)
Yeah, I loved how they evolved his character from being a spoiled, entitled character - though one that always made sure his friends had fun & felt good about life - to really caring deeply for Rory. He matured & became responsible even. Then Year in the Life it was a total 180. They devolved his character. It was a huge disservice to his character and the story.
Really interesting how you blame Logan for cheating on his fiancee, like Rory was just an innocent bystander forced into riding him. And Logan? Sure, Logan's a bastard for marying someone he didn't love, but Rory wasn't able to keep it in her pants either. If you analyze it, you'll realize Rory Gilmore may have started like an adorable child, but she grew up to become quite the screw-up too...
He's still the cheating one... Rory isn't so innocent but he's the one committing adultery. Although technically Rory is too since she had that bf she always forgot about so they're both trash
They were both cheating. Yes, Logan being engaged was business, but he was still engaged to someone else, not Rory. And Rory had a boyfriend. Although, I like to pretend A Year in the Life - didn't happen because there was so much that was wrong with that. Screw it! It ended with season 7 and whatever I came up with in my head.
Lorilie giving Luke an ultimatum is honestly my favorite scene, because literally all of their relationship is just Lorilie doing something nice, Luke gets mad at her and Lorilie apologizes. So seeing her stand up for herself was really nice.
Why blame Christopher?? The only time he did wrong was in Emily and Richard’s wedding. Lorelai was the one who ran away with Rory when she was born and went to christopher’s house when she had the fight with Luke. And when he found out that Sherry was pregnant he didn’t leave her, he did the right thing. And another thing, a guy is “the worst” because he didn’t want to out with Rory? Give me a break.
I laughed so much when it said everything Christopher but he never purposefully meant to cause lorelai harm, he loved her and he wanted her and wanted her to be happy but he was easily lead and he didn’t have it in him to watch her be with anyone who wasn’t him bc of that love.
True have sex with Dean when he was married to Lindsey. Then have sex with Logan when he was engaged to someone else. She isn't the best role model here is she.
@@lowrimathews9940 she's not a role modem, she's a human being, she's flawed she's ins't perfect she's not season 1 rory cause she's older. I know she can be a brat but the hate she get it's unfair
Clara Dubus I agree. She doesn’t deserve all the hate she gets. I think I remember her even telling Logan that she thinks their affair needs to stop and didn’t want to be used so he can get away from his fiancé or something
@@sunshine97443 there is a difference between being flawed as a human (that would be lorelai, bragging, being arrogant, yet loves people around her) and a homewrecker, which rory was. Twice. And it wasnt just a regrettable one night stand with someone she didnt knew and later found out had a wife, She even had affairs with both dean and Logan. Willingly. Because they were "hers". If rory would have been a guy you would call him a dick in two seconds.
The worst thing a guy does in Gilmore Girls is the episode where Jess and Luke are absolutely disgusted by the lady breastfeeding in the diner and Luke tries to kick her out - Luke says some horrible things - real dick move
To be fair, Christopher only showing up to cause drama is bad writing. It's just not believable that chris would go months at a time barely talking to Lorelai only to show up when she's dating someone because he realized for the billionth time that he's in love with her.
I started out liking her but they kept sprinkling scenes through the series where she was acting like a spoiled brat. (Like how she looked at Paris at her birthday party like 'YOU'RE here?' B*tch, it's a friendly gesture to go to your party, shut up already). THEN she turned into a terrible person. Year in the Life just added to it, turning her into a lazy, unprofessional hack who was irresponsible when sleeping with men and stringing her boyfriend Paul along. And she said she was broke & we can only assume Richard left her money in his will when he died so are we to assume she burned through that money too? Nothing about her character is good anymore. I was watching the show for the other characters. Love Paris, Doyle, Lane, Luke etc
okay number 7 shouldnt even be on this list, everyone has the right to say no, and who knows maybe she just wasn’t his type, he doesnt have to explain himself
Rory didn’t like him as anything more than a friend. She didn’t flirt with him or kiss him or give him any indication that she liked him. She was honest about her feelings toward him and she still wanted him to be her friend. He was rude and immature for pretending to not know her.
Unpopular opinion : I think Lorelai and Max Medina were amazing and Rory and Jess were the best (should have ended up together) and that Dave and Lane should have ended up together. Give it a thumbs up if you agree 👍🏻👍🏻♥️
Good, I was thinking I must have forgotten something but apparently I was right. Nothing happened at all... what a dumb reason to be on the list. I mean, they had plenty of other things they could put on the list.
Trevor seemed like a good guy. They just didn’t have a good date. It happens. I didn’t like that she put him, number 7 and Luke’s no cell phones on the list.
William doesn't belong on the list....and kudos in general for the variety here, you could have filled multiple lists with just Dean & Christopher so it's nice to see others included ( and I'm glad the Marty thing made the list, that was such a douche move. Though Rory was at fault too for going along with the ruse. ).
Louise Andersen there are no good rory and logan moments he made her doubt herself drop out of college completely change her personality he got her drunk at her grandparents house he made her a criminal he cheated on her he is cheating on his fiancé with her honesty i hated them together
@@unhingedonepiecetheories omg when are y’all gonna EVER get it into your heads that Rory is her own person. You can’t blame every single mistake Rory did while dating Logan on him. And no, he didn’t cheat, but I do think it was messed up to not warn her that she’s being going into a room with the girls he had sexual with
"Jess would later develop into one of Rory's healthier love interests." Gonna have to disagree with this one. They only dated once (excluding one kiss in season 6 that Rory immediately regretted) and the scene with him pressuring her was actually fairly late into that relationship. Moreover, he was uninterested in many things she cared about (like town activities), didn't even really try to get along with her family, was generally cold to most people, even people that were Rory's friends, kept her wondering when he was gonna call and would randomly disappear and show up, and was generally really flaky while still seeming like he felt he was owed her love, etc. I'm not saying that Jess is the worst person ever, but I absolutely despise the "bad boy who hates everyone else but loves you" trope because realistically, it doesn't lead to a healthy, sustainable relationship - and the show even shows that! It seems like he matures later in the show, but it's worth noting that any progress he made was made without Rory in his (romantic) life, and being with her again might actually make in backslide. I don't know. Rory's other love interests have their own unique set of issues, certainly, and I'll never act like they're perfect, but Jess trying to pressure Rory into having sex was a moment that really bothered me in particular, and for that, he'll probably always be my least favorite for her out of the main three.
Lexie Price. I agree with you. And I don’t like when people claim that Jess wasn’t forcing Rory into sex. The moment he was trying to undo her pant, she was feeling uncomfortable and had to get him off of her.
My biggest thing w the whole Marty storyline is that yes, she rejects him, but arguably he's more hurt that she likes his bully. The show just wants us to ignore that part of their history by labeling him as a creep :/ But yea overall, not one of your strongest videos lmfao
Um, why #7? Because no one is ever allowed to not want to be head over heels in love with Rory? I forgot the episode where it was announced that "Ye all must be in loveth with Rory Gilmore no matter what." I don't think so. I actually loved that moment because it might have been the first time in over 3 seasons someone actually said no to Rory & it was golden.
Justice for Jason Stiles! He was the best boyfriend of the bunch: emotionally mature, financially stable, adored Lorelai and kept up with her intellectually. Plus, who wouldn't want to sleep in that fabulous guest room? He was even right to sue Richard, whose funeral he's big enough to attend to pay his respects to Lorelai. Every time I rewatch, I think it's such a shame he didn't get a longer arc.
If Rory was just a side chick in the reunion with Logan and didn't know him I would accept it. But the fact that Logan proposed to her and she rejected him for her "career" which is failing just makes it 10x worse. I mean you could have easily married him and been sleeping with him on good terms and had a wonderful family THE RIGHT WAY cause either way she's still sleeping with him now and she's probably pregnant with his baby too so it's honestly just lost time on a marriage that could have been beautiful. But Rory got her commitment issues from her mommy.
1: Rory can reject Marty & cheat on dean several times then later sleeping with him when he’s married, then sleeping with Logan after they break up and he’s engaged but a guy who has no clue who she is can’t reject her ? 2. Jason is right to sue Richard. Richard deserves to be sued. He left Jason with nothing.

right? i know a lot of people flinch and get angry whenever i mention it, but that's literally rape by deception. when you consent to sex under specific conditions (wearing a condom, having a VASECTOMY) and your partner lies to you about said conditions, that's incredibly fucked up! can you imagine having sex with someone who says they used protection, but in reality they were just bullshitting you? i'd feel violated, both physically and emotionally.
Sookie is the one that tried to force him to get a vasectomy instead of talking about it. So they’re both in the wrong.
@@Laurakarenly1213 And when he didn't get it, he just didn't tell her. That's far worse
I greatly think Sookie was 10000% in the wrong in that whole situation. She does not own his body

Ummmm.... number 7 should not be on this list. Everyone is free to say no to a date without explanation, regardless of how great that person might be.

Agree - it's one of the few times Rory gets rejected in the series and it humanizes her. The show was on the border of idealizing her.
Yes and he did politely too, AND the girl he was talking about in the laundry room was NOT Rory but an actual stalker.
Thank you. This is way worse than someone rejecting Rory.
Agree, Richard with Lorelei "almost mommy" was a punch in the face for Emily, specifically when he knew well his mom didn't like Emily for him.
A few things you forgot to mention:
1) Christopher's father's outburst and slut-shaming at both Lorelai and Rory in season 1
2) Richard pressuring Rory to attend the interview at Yale in season 3
3) Kirk and Taylor destroying Luke's diner and not accepting responsibility
4) Jess crashing Rory's car, putting her in hospital and running away
5) Rory's boyfriends' jealousy and possessiveness and borderline controlling behaviour
6) Zach's outburst at Brian and Lane in mid-season 5

i think it was the 'story' part not the rejecting though i'm not sure if he spread it or not i haven't watched that season in a hot minute
@@nightfrost1891 But the story wasn't about her, it was about another girl who really was stalking him and this vid insinuated that he was problematic just for rejecting Rory in the first place b/c "she's Rory freaking Gilmore!" To me, that's a reason not to date her tbqh
This!!!!
He was willing to do anything to keep his business with Richard going, but then when it didn't work out he didn't know what to do and just took the ultimate action of suing him
I loved Jason he was quirky, funny and kept up with all of Lorelai's quirks too!
Jason and max were both really good guys
Jason was so good, I actually loved his relationship with Lorelei
I was about to go off about this, but you did it for me! Thank you so much! 👏👏
Preach say it again for those in the back👏👏🗣🗣
i think it was he rejected her and then spread rumors, not just that he ejected her
though i haven't watched in a hot minute so idk if he really did spread anything but if he did, that makes him pretty scummy
but rejecting is fine, making a big deal of it and calling her a crazy obsessed stalker for just asking is not
Night Frost yea he wasn’t talking about her.

Too much of the life she wanted to leave behind.

Carly Edwards I get what you're saying but a rejection doesn't necessarily have to have an explanation especially if you're not close. He probably just didn't like her. He was polite about it and spared them both further awkwardness by leaving it at that.
William did nothing wrong he said thank you but no that is a very polite way to turn someone down he shouldn’t have to give her an explanation he wasn’t interested it happens

lets ignore in how in year of the life he literally told rory to write a book and she listened and that was what made her career better
Is there a list for times the Gilmore Girls were the WORST because that'd be a hella long list!
I have a couple disagreements:
(1) That guy, while frank, had every right and was rather kind in his rejection of Rory.
I could go on lol
you are such a trash to think that a person should be banned using phone! humans are free and they should decide what to do!
mari sharifashvili that’s a bit harsh.
Starbits7 I agree, Chris wasn’t wrong enough to make the list. I just especially felt someone should speak up for his relationship with Gigi
I really don't agree with number 6, i mean Richard did Jason dirty. He has the right to defend himself
I will never forgive the producers for completely ruining Logan's character in "A Year In The Life". He was arguably her best, most supportive relationship in the original show and she was always too selfish and entitled to deserve him.
Yes ! And he wasn't a cheater, so it seems odd in the revival
Agreeeeeee

Dude, it's 110% okay to say "no" to a date with or without reasons offered. How incredibly dangerous to suggest otherwise!
I was always under the impression that Logan's engage was more of a business arrangment on both sides.
The cheater is him, not her.
@@elatafalando Being a home wrecker (sp?) is not precisely a badge of honor...
Lorilie giving Luke an ultimatum is honestly my favorite scene, because literally all of their relationship is just Lorilie doing something nice, Luke gets mad at her and Lorilie apologizes. So seeing her stand up for herself was really nice.
Please take number seven of the list he doesn’t need to go out with her
Why blame Christopher??
None of these guys are as bad as Rory herself. Rory Gilmore is the worst.
She literally grew up in a town where every citizen kissed her butt, she had no chance.
I’m team Christopher🙋🏽♀️ I feel he’s so over hated
Angie Smith same
He openly slept w Lorelei knowing she is engaged
He used Rory to get to Lorelai
The worst thing a guy does in Gilmore Girls is the episode where Jess and Luke are absolutely disgusted by the lady breastfeeding in the diner and Luke tries to kick her out - Luke says some horrible things - real dick move
Not all people (not only men) are interested in things like that.... agree or diagree....
*disagree...
@@yinloveyang You don't need to be interested or even particularly joyful about it, you just need to respect a baby's right to be fed!
Why is William rejecting Rory on this list? It’s perfectly fine to reject someone
This literally came out when I was re-watching 'Gilmore Girls' for the gazillionth time!😍
And, in the end, Rory ended up being 100 times worst than all these guys.
No Logan is
Number 7 shouldn't be in the list. If you're not interested then the polite thing to do is to reject the person in a decent way.... just like he did.
To be fair, Christopher only showing up to cause drama is bad writing. It's just not believable that chris would go months at a time barely talking to Lorelai only to show up when she's dating someone because he realized for the billionth time that he's in love with her.
Now do a top 10 times guys on Gilmore Girls were the best! 😍
Luke all Luke 2 me.
Please tell me I’m not the only one that doesn’t care for Rory
No I did not appreciate Rory. She was good at the start and became a brat at the end.
There is no Kirk related item on the list because he is perfect
emily: “and you don’t have a boyfriend?”
rory: “no, not really.”
lorelai: “why do you?”
lmfao lorelai tho sbdbgfyfn 😂
okay number 7 shouldnt even be on this list, everyone has the right to say no, and who knows maybe she just wasn’t his type, he doesnt have to explain himself
William was not a jerk, he turn her down clean.
I know that marty should not have lied ab not knowing Rory but I feel like if Rory hadn’t friend zoned him they could have been a really good couple
Jared Padalecki lmfao it’s so weird seeing him in his early 20s.
Why is the date with Trevor mentioned? They just didn’t have chemistry?
Good, I was thinking I must have forgotten something but apparently I was right. Nothing happened at all... what a dumb reason to be on the list. I mean, they had plenty of other things they could put on the list.
Trevor seemed like a good guy. They just didn’t have a good date. It happens. I didn’t like that she put him, number 7 and Luke’s no cell phones on the list.
Disagree with Christopher! He wasn’t that great but Lorelei was not very nice either
William doesn't belong on the list....and kudos in general for the variety here, you could have filled multiple lists with just Dean & Christopher so it's nice to see others included ( and I'm glad the Marty thing made the list, that was such a douche move. Though Rory was at fault too for going along with the ruse. ).
When she said #1 Everything Christopher I laughed so hard! 😂 So true
Now do Top 10 moments the Gilmore Guys were awesome and top 10 Rory and Logan moments
Louise Andersen there are no good rory and logan moments he made her doubt herself drop out of college completely change her personality he got her drunk at her grandparents house he made her a criminal he cheated on her he is cheating on his fiancé with her honesty i hated them together
the same Logan that cheated on Rory thank you next😎😉😘
How the hell is Luke not telling Lorelai about April only #5? For me it's #1
Same!
He honestly did her a favour by not telling her because April is the woooorst.
he was so dumb for that
My biggest thing w the whole Marty storyline is that yes, she rejects him, but arguably he's more hurt that she likes his bully. The show just wants us to ignore that part of their history by labeling him as a creep :/
But yea overall, not one of your strongest videos lmfao
Christophers a pretty decent dad to gigi. I mean hus life is basically about gigi in the later season.
So just because some guy turned Rory down he's the worst? Honestly this whole list should just be Logan is the worst.
I agree with your list, now make a video about the best relationship moments of gilmore girls🥰
DUNCAN KANE?
Rune was total a-hole.
