In highschool i had two of these they were great. Clear sound, crispy bass and great mids. Nowadays they don’t make them like that. I wish you good luck to restore this beauty.
I have one in storage in a vacuum sealed bag, and it is in amazing condition. Yes such an amazing bit of kit for it's time. A portable with a 4 amp bi-wire, speaker system, no wonder it sounded so good..
I had the other Panasonic version that wasn't as fancy as that one, I thought it sounded great. And this one here always thought looked so space age , but I never got to hear one until now.
This is the beginning of the restoration ,first i try to find out what is broken,,,the panasonic sounds amazing almost,,the speaker's are destroyed...but is going to be a...long restauration,more video will follow, a will do my best to save this boombox, stay tuned and thank you for watching

Do you really think it's worth restoring? However, it sells for 70 pounds in better condition.
