But, I still think if he'd been able to express his thoughts as clearly in the debate as he did here, most of the outcry never happens. The other thing that stood out to me in this is the self confidence, I honestly can't see him stepping down of his own volition after watching this. It might be time for the Democrats raising the alarm to realize that attacking their own horse isn't going to improve the odds, and that the energy could be much better spent elsewhere.

I think President did fine. Apart from calling Donald Trump his VP which was an honest mistake, he was very good, especially on the issues. Trump confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi. One of my first jobs was working almost 10 years doing night shifts in a care hospital for elderly patients with dementia and alzheimers. It's an *insult* to those people when morons say Biden has dementia. Biden does not have dementia. He's just old, like we all will be.

I think Biden did well. Yes, he made a couple of gaffes - I make those, and I'm half his age. The things that stuck out to me most were: 1) The depth and breadth of knowledge Biden displayed in relation to every single topic raised 2) The fact that Biden actually answered each question in detail, as opposed to Trump's standard answer of "I'm the best anyone has ever seen, and everybody loves me" 3) The fact that in addition to speaking on the things he knows about, Biden is willng to admit to what he *doesn't* know (whereas Trump just makes things up, whether it be stats/numbers or entire conversations), and 4) Biden's humor at the end, which felt like a mic drop moment to me. If people have issues with Biden misspeakng every once in awhile, all they need to do is listen to Trump, who is far worse in every way. Hosting this press conference was a good idea. Biden should do it more often.
He spoke for nearly half an hour, going in depth on geopolitical issues/foreign policy. And all that's gonna come out of it is that gaffe which he almost immediately corrected himself on.
The qorst glitch was the trump/vp one because he didn't recognise he had done it, I think the glitches are each time he gets emotional angry and upset and then struggles to get out what he wants to say. It's not dementia, it's normal aging. With two elderly parents who are 80, forgetful and occasionally call people the wrong name, grandmother who was 91 when she died and started with dementia at 80, I can tell the difference. One of my first jobs was working almost 10 years doing night shifts in a care hospital for elderly patients with dementia and alzheimers. It's an *insult* to those people when morons say Biden has dementia.

Exactly. Someone with dementia does not get up and answer a bunch of questions about incredibly complex issues with nuanced answers that display an intricate knowledge of the subjects at hand. Someone with dementia is more likely to, say, stick to the same half dozen stories/talking points no matter what they're asked, make up numbers or entire conversations on the go (confabulations / delusions), go on wild tangents that have no relation to anything being asked, etc - all of which you see consistently in Trump.
There's a reason we have seen literally *hundreds* of medical experts come forward and put their reputations on the line in order to warn the public about Trump having progressive dementia, whereas that is not happening in Biden's case. Anyone who knows anything about the actual clinical signs of dementia vs normal signs of an aging brain can see the difference. It couldn't be more clear.

I think Biden did well. Yes, he made a couple of gaffes - I make those, and I'm half his age. The things that stuck out to me most were:
1) The depth and breadth of knowledge Biden displayed in relation to every single topic raised
2) The fact that Biden actually answered each question in detail, as opposed to Trump's standard answer of "I'm the best anyone has ever seen, and everybody loves me"
3) The fact that in addition to speaking on the things he knows about, Biden is willng to admit to what he *doesn't* know (whereas Trump just makes things up, whether it be stats/numbers or entire conversations), and
4) Biden's humor at the end, which felt like a mic drop moment to me. If people have issues with Biden misspeakng every once in awhile, all they need to do is listen to Trump, who is far worse in every way.
Hosting this press conference was a good idea. Biden should do it more often.

The qorst glitch was the trump/vp one because he didn't recognise he had done it, I think the glitches are each time he gets emotional angry and upset and then struggles to get out what he wants to say. With two elderly parents who are 80, forgetful and occasionally call people the wrong name, grandmother who was 91 when she died and started with dementia at 80, I can tell the difference.
