Breakfast, lunch and beverages in with the ticket, wow, amazing good old English fair play. In fact that's more than enough fair play for anyone. May Air Arms and BSA forever prosper in UK. RIP Bob 'Mr AA' Nichols.
Thanks Giles for promoting the sport so well, I was here (USA) when the first shooters came from the other side of the pond to California for some of our first field target competitions 20 some years ago, my interest in airguns has been renewed and your videos have helped me decide to purchase an Air Arms prosport. Thanks again, and like y'all say "Cheers".
I had the absolute pleasure to shoot with TERRY back in the late 80’s thru the 90’s we spent many happy hours on FT ranges around the South of England then he was testing a GC2 and I was using a double pull under lever Jonn Whiscombe dual opposed FT Rifle we met at a shoot just outside Basildon in Essex and became good friends until I left the sport around 96 ish
hi Giles nice footage! you must bring your air rifle next year, then we can jinx you lol. great coverage of the day,sad to say i ran out of battery on my video camera. great day out for a £10.00, and great course! regards Davy
I'm looking to get into this great hobby very soon indeed, and have my new TX200 in transit (yes!). I watch your videos often, and this event looks like a fantastic day out for shooters. I noticed on the Air Arms site it is running again this year. May I ask though, what kind of skill level would be appropriate to attend? As this is my first rifle and I certainly won't be up there come September, I wanted to look into whether or not new-comers such as I would fit in. Thanks a lot in advance!
How can you get involved with club shooting as far as I am aware there isn't any in my area of West Wales I would like to get involved but don't want to be driving miles and miles all the time
Nice... Very nice event. Here (in Greece that is) we are having problem with FT competitions. There is no support from the state and in addition the state declared the one and only FT club out of law!!!! Scopes silencers and air gun hunting are illegal. We have started a marathon to make FT known as a sport but simply there is no sponsoring from the air gun companies or even importers here. The only satisfaction for the shooters is a good shooting day. There are no cups no trophys here :(((
