@@ruledbysaturn I mean yeah I feel like the eagle could’ve dug into his shoulder with it’s claws so even though the eagle landing would’ve been cool, it would also be very bad for him to get hurt that way.

Great name for it. I’ve been trying to make friends with the crows in my area for awhile, but I’m not out there consistently enough to get to know them.
Crows are not ominous at all...its an honor when any animal comes to you... Crows are very intelligent and eagles ...extremely lucky guy if an eagle chose him
@giggles106 Well in most mythologies they are associated with death (due in part to their coloration and the fact that they are carrion eaters) and prophecy, so they were often viewed as signs of ill fortune.
One time I was riding down a highway in Washington in a massive army convoy. I had my head out the top of my Stryker, watching the road as was my job. We got to this beautiful lake area surrounded by awesome mountains and then I saw a massive Bald Eagle flying right over the convoy. I'll never forget that
As someone who has worked with birds of prey and even flown eagles at events like this, that player did exactly what he was supposed to do whether he knew it or not. Great instincts!
Very dangerous bird. I hope they caged him or dealt with him appropriately after this sickening demonstration and placing the baseball player in harms way.
Certainly depends. Most falconry eagles actually have talons sharper than wild ones because of their comparatively scarce usage, and the special mats falconers use for their birds' perches to prevent bumblefoot - so it's very easy for eagles to hurt someone not wearing protection even if they don't mean it.
The respect that Paxton tried to show not only to the eagle by trying not to freak out as much as possible, but also to the anthem which appeared to be playing, was absolutely inspiring.
Honestly I feel bad for the eagle because it was probably super overwhelming to be let out in the stadium. Imagine trying to understand what's going on when you have a LITERAL bird brain.
@@peoplenoodlesoup I doubt that he was scared because he has done this many times. He was trained to fly in the stadium. It’s a large, unwieldy, and dangerous bird with very sharp talons. You’re not going to just stand still and let it land on you unexpectedly, especially since it can majorly hurt you without even trying to.

@@Our-Creator-Loves-Us Bald eagles toss mountain goats to their deaths. Don't forget that factoid.
The bald eagle is so majestic and beautiful! I love them! Is one of my favourites. Here in South America he have the biggest one which is the Condor Andino, and it's huge and nice, but the bald eagle is way more beautiful (aesthetically obviously, they're both birds, and beautiful).
I've always been jealous of birds and how they can fly above mountains, rivers, all the places in nature we can't go.
The bird which is the bald eagle.
