It’s a large, unwieldy, and dangerous bird with very sharp talons. You’re not going to just stand still and let it land on you unexpectedly, especially since it can majorly hurt you without even trying to.
I mean, to be fair, there's kind of an obvious reason why. Notice how all the official handlers of it are wearing thick pads on their nesting arms? Because the eagle has very sharp claws that, if not placed carefully (which the eagle will most likely not be careful since it's a wild animal and can't possibly make these careful, precise calculations on a living being with zero protection over his arm), could've easily sliced into Paxton's arm/shoulder or any other part of his body really, causing tremendous damage and pain very easily.

@@Jenacide No, it's free for the one that needs it, that's why you have a pool that everyone adds to. You don't understand macro economics obviously, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt and just say that you're a victim of ignorance. Everybody pays a small amount as an insurance so the core functions of a society is maintained, it's not a cost, it's a necessary essential for any civilized society, that's what some of the salary is for; it's just not easy to see that because it doesn't go to just one thing.
It cost the society way more to have sick and dying people; add that in your 5th grade class curriculum as well. Not everything can be measured in money, and not every money can be measured. Your money isn't going to be worth anything if the society collapses.

Honestly I feel bad for the eagle because it was probably super overwhelming to be let out in the stadium. Imagine trying to understand what's going on when you have a LITERAL bird brain.
@@ruminationstation4200 I know I did too. I feel like he was afraid.
@@peoplenoodlesoup I doubt that he was scared because he has done this many times. He was trained to fly in the stadium. They probably "practiced" with his handler standing on the mound and the eagle confused the pitcher with his handler because of this. They have excellent eyesight in the daylight and can spot an ant on the ground from the top of a 10-story building. Amazing raptors...❤️🦅
Yep I thought that the eagle may had confused the player w/ its handler. @0:41 it’s like “OH! There you are.” My bad! 🦅 😅

All Canadians are American citizens the same way all Mexicans are. They are just not US citizens =)

I don't get why the other people of the Americas want to be called "American" so bad, at best it's the official demonym of the most hated people in the world; at worst it's a completely meaningless geographic term. There's no common culture between a Canadian and a Belizean so why would you need to group them with the same term? America is meaningless unless you're talking about 'Murica.
@metaLungiez then why do we call all people from asia 'asians', or all people from europe 'europeans', or all people from africa 'africans'?
Your argument makes no sense, considering the fact that canadians and mexicans are in fact americans. And so are people from south america- because guess what? South america is also part of the americas. Anyone who lives here or there are citizens of america, because that's literally what they are.

It’s a large, unwieldy, and dangerous bird with very sharp talons. You’re not going to just stand still and let it land on you unexpectedly, especially since it can majorly hurt you without even trying to.
He would have also possibly lost the use of that arm for the rest of his life.
@@Iluvpie6 Worth it, I'd rather let a Bald Eagle land on my shoulder than a wasp
@@Iluvpie6 Nobody asked if it would hurt like crap, it would of looked effin epic. If I had that once in a life time opportunity your damn right Id let an eagle mess me up. Then I could show my eagle scar to everyone.
