I know this will probably get lost but I just want too say what this song means too me... I found I Prevail at the worst time in my life. I guess I had always battled with sadness but I never truly knew it until this past summer... I somehow convinced myself that I was worthless and that everyone would be better off without me. These feelings came out of nowhere... as I lay there I decided I was gonna take me life... I started too type goodbye too my girlfriend and then realized I couldn’t do this too the ones that loved me... two weeks later she broke up with me... I had told no one and now she was gone... but I started listening to trauma... this song in particular... all of these emotions had hit me like a “hurricane”... I kept I Prevail on repeat for at least a month... then I couldn’t handle listening too any music because it reminded me of my pain I was feeling... throughout the past months I slowly started too listen to I Prevail again... using them as my anthems... too see that I was getting better... today was the first day I could listen too this song again... it reminded me of how strong I am. Too anyone going through anything. It gets better, I know it’s a cliche but it does... I never thought that I’d make it past last summer. Yet 8 months later I’m here and happier than ever... I’ve found a new girl... I got professional help... and I’m just happy too be alive. Never give up, never give in. Always fight your demons and never stop. I just want too say... thank you I Prevail... for being what got me through. Thank you for helping me get my life back... never give up. Always fight too get better

I remember when I found out about I Prevail. I’m always surprised with the music they make or make something different. Simply amazing 🥺❤️
Hellyeah same, I’ve been a fan of I Prevail since they released their version of Blank Space in 2014 and everything they’ve put out since then has been amazing. Sucks that they had to cancel some shows cause of that virus going around but it was a great call to make not just for their health but for us the fans too.
My sister introduced me to I prevail right about when lifelines came out, I am so thankful that she decided to do this for me

this'll probably get lost. but i can not express how much this song means to me- having gone through severe depression, self harming and thinking of suicide daily whilst my anger fluctuates out of control... this song never fails to make me feel better and honestly without you guys i would feel so alone- according to my parents iM tOo yOuNG tO bE fEeLiNG tHiS, i'm only 15 and ive been struggling with my mental health for around 6 years...
You're not too young to feel these things. It's perfectly normal to feel out of control during your teens and going into adulthood. You are worth something and you have value. I hope you get the help you deserve and just know you will be ok, I know things seem impossible sometimes but you will get stronger and better.

Mate, ik this a year after- and I hope you're still with us. I fully understand what you are feeling, I've been through it. It sucks, you're never 'too young' to have mental health issues, but trust me bro, it will improve, this is just a chapter, don't end your story early.

I am now 17 and sometimes I go back to my comment and kind of cringe, but it has made me realise how much I have changed as a person (for the better!) and now I really strive to be the best version of myself, and I can finally say that I am happy! I'm just so glad that I didn't give up and I'm so grateful for the support and kind words that I have received. I hope for the best for you in the future, and make sure you take care of yourself!

This song hits home for me. Depression grips you and you feel.....empty. Its like staring into a dark abyss, its disturbing and numbing. It makes you feel guilt and embarrassment. Sometimes you want it to end because it never goes away. This song is so damn good, keep going I prevail!!

This version coming out right now is really helping me with a lot. The anxiety of covid-19 and me being someone classed as vulnerable is hitting hard and I’ve had some troubles with my home situation and family. I love your music and was upset when the show in Manchester was postponed but I understand why it was and respect the decision as it saves me more anxiety for catching covid-19. Personally I’m a big fan of acoustic songs/versions and it’s such a good song in both versions. Thank you for producing the music you do.

Every single I Prevail song just hits different. The Trauma album really helped me through a time when I just couldn't see any way out. I have everything that would make a person happy, but I still feel so empty, but listening to their songs makes me feel like I'm not alone in feeling this way and gives me hope that it isn't forever.
This..... Is what I'm going through now. I feel drained and weak but I know it will get better. Just got to keep going forward.

About 3 years ago I was in a very dark state of mind ... I was in a very toxic relationship with an ex and thought shed get better but slowly she was becoming worse and worse it got so bad we drifted apart and that she said "let's take a break" ... of course me being 20 at the time and young and naive I thought shed come back ... but the worst eventually happened ... she found another guy and cheated on me with him ... I was in the worst state of mind and I almost literally jumped off a bridge because I was so heartbroken and in the most immense amount of pain I had ever been in in my life ... I went to a mental hospital got better and eventually moved on ... needless to say this song hits home for me not just due to the relationship falling apart and her constantly putting the blame on me for the relationship failing but also for the huge amount of "friends" I couldnt be myself around when I was struggling so bad .... to anyone who's experienced similar just know you have much much more worth than any lover who tells you otherwise .... dont listen to their toxic comments and hurtful words ... never let them pin the blame on you because it always takes two to make shit work .... never forget your importance to the right kind of people I almost did, but I'm glad i didnt

I prevail got me through everything in life and i was finally going to see them live 24th but due to this pandemic and lockdown it has been postponed which is better than being cancelled. Its upsetting but i guess you just have to wait it out but honestly something to make me smile during this hard time. Thank you guys ❤❤
They were on the radio when I had decided I was going to commit suicide by crashing my car. I had turned on the radio to drown out my mind, and Crossroads had just begun. It was the first time hearing I Prevail and I was listening to it with everything I had. It truly saved me, and I've had the pleasure to see them live twice since then. I highly recommend seeing them the first chance we get, especially after the new video for DOA. 🔥
