I have completed the project by following the video but it takes too long to load from firebase just loading a 3 sec video takes 15 seconds. There is no problem with firebase what to do? Any help would be appreciated

You can watch the latest Music app with Firebase video there we have used Exoplayer to show the media length, current position, everything. So you can do the same thing here as well.

Be specific. How can i tell why thumbnail is not showing. Check its uploaded to firebase? Check if you can play the video without thumbnail? Check only thumbnail is not visible or videos are not visible? There might be 100 reasons. So be specific.
Not a waste of time at all. Bimal is showing you how to step by step from a new project exactly what to do and why you are doing it. If you start from the very beginning, all the steps are there. However, if you start in the middle such as jumping right to the bottom nav bar, you may miss the need to create the uiutil package, or the build.gradle.kts buildfeatures for viewBinding = true which is a bit prior as part of the sign in/auth sections. Start from the beginning, do the project, and then adapt to your own project. So much is here to learn if you spend the time, and its definitely worth the time!
