I have a similar skin tone to you, so I totally understand the struggle with neutrals not pulling how you want them.
me too! i'm definitely more on the warmer side, and one of my first palettes was the UD Naked 2 palette, which is suuuuuper neutral/cool toned. I loved how it looked on the palette, but it just never really looked great on me :(

I think this is why I kept adding it to my cart but didn't follow through. I like the idea of this palette and it can look beautiful on others, but neutral/cool don't really do much for me. I feel like my skin looks ashy when I go too neutral with my eyeshadows
I have the same issue with colours. My favourites are anything similar toned to the naked 3 palette as the mauve tones aren't too cool or too warm ❤️
Maybe it's the camera/lighting- but you looked fantastic! None of the looks appeared ashy at all!

Really hoping you review the Bye Bye Birdie palette next! I know it's been out for a few months now, but the colors/shades look absolutely gorgeous! Still love to see your review & the no doubt beautiful looks you'd create with this palette!
So sad you don’t love it. I ordered mine since I really need a good neutral palette. I really understand that you’re more drawn to warm tones, but you really look stunning in every look you created with this pallete.
I know you are not a fan of cool tones but I love them on you! I think you skin tone lets you pull off colorful, warm, and cool tones! Could you please review the Flutter By eyeshadow palette by Colourpop if you got in PR? They've released a lot of pink eyeshadow palettes in the past but Flutter By is the only one that seems to be truly mauve and more cool-toned, and not many people have reviewed it online

I know I'm a bit late to the party but I wanted to say that it really is so interesting seeing the difference between the colors on my skin tone and yours. The first look actually pulled sort of warm on me. How intriguing!

Seeing how different the colors look on you vs other people I've seen wear this palette is so interesting! I don't know my undertone so I'm not sure how it will pull on me but I think it's very pretty on you! I'm so split between this palette and the hola chola one with becky g. I definitely want one but I don't think I need 2 neutral palettes since I own 'You had me at hello'. Gorgeous looks as always Judy!
I agree! Also the hola chola one is all mattes which is really tempting. And it also comes with a mirror! The reason I chose this one over hola chola is that I know I didn't need the darker shades and the white shade since I have the smoke show palette.
The coconuts one has more cool toned browns and the Becky g one has warmer browns. You can use either one to contour or bronze depending on ur look. The Becky g one has grey and black in it which are two colours I wouldn’t use

How to tell if you are warm or cool toned. If beiges and cream colored clothing look good on you, you are
Warm toned. If you look better in white and grey, cool toned.
Judy you are so right. At first when I saw you I thought oh she does not look like the regular Judy. Something is off, and that's the eyeshadow. And then a bit further into the video you mentioned this yourself and I think it is true. You still look so pretty but you look much more beautiful when you wear more warm-tone shades.

I asked for this palette for Christmas because I'm so pale. Neutral and cool tones are much more my speed. Hopefully, its everything I've dreamed it would be

wow i think you dispelled my deep rooted want for this palette. Every look you did turned out beautifully but from the swatches, I can totally see the ashiness that you're speaking of and how that would have translated to some struggles creating looks. So crazy, it looked like the perfect neutrals palette in pan against that beautiful light peachy pink packaging. The looks you did reminded me of the Milani Soft & Sultry palette and reminded me that I should play with it again. Thanks as always for all the info and inspo. It's great to have an asian beauty influencer for reference.
maybe on someone who has a fair neutral cool undertone it probably wont clash as much! but im so glad i can be some inspo to you!!

Always love your in-depth reviews, so thank you for continuing to do them! I have a cool yellow undertone, so I’m opposite of you in that I find cool neutrals way more flattering on me than warm neutrals. I only use warm neutrals when I’m going for a specific look. Happy Holidays! ❤️🎄

Oh no, I wish I saw this review before I bought two of these palettes, one for me and one as a gift! Oh well. On the bright side I have mostly all warm shadows so I did need some neutrals in my collection. I bought one for my mom as a christmas gift, she prefers neutral shadows most of the time even though she is warm toned. I find that neutral shadows really do flatter mature skin of all skin tones, it gives depth and definition while being very subtle.
i think it will be a good addition to ur collection! theres always a time and place for it, but i agree on more mature skin, neutrals are great!

They all looked beautiful but it comes down to what YOU feel good in. I think for myself, I have a fair/neutral to fair/cool skin tone and look 3 is the one I want to try the most!

I really liked all 3 . The second look was my fave , very nice , the the first look , I didn’t LOVE the third one , but it wasn’t bad . I think you did a good job and they all looked nice
i bought this and I have the same issue. it looks ashy on my skin too, however there are some looks that I can pull off with the two darker shimmers.
I totally understand how you feel about being more drawn to warm tones, but on CP’s website it does state that this palette is a cool/neutral palette :)

I’m also finding that with bare necessities.... but tbh I haven’t played with going coconuts or bare necessities too much so I gotta use them more lol

I also thought this would pull a bit more warmer (which is actually why I hesitated on buying) BUT seeing how cool it is, now I want it! The cool toned of it reminds me of the milani soft & sultry but I never bought that one.
No shade but this was advertised as a neutral palette from colourpop themselves. I think people see brown and they automatically assume it can only be warm. I think it looks awesome on you tho!

I have this palette and coconut kiss bundle with waikiki and shaka coming in mail soon and interested how I feel about it. Usually I like similar things as you (love lip crayons so much especially rise n shine!) and a little worried if the palette is too neutral or cool toned for me. I will see soon!
mines in the mail as well. i think a lot of the problems with the palette can come from the undertone of your skin and if these colors work well with your skintone. i’m excited regardless!

Update: I actually really like the coconuts palette, but I am not impressed by the white shimmer shade that is the second one on the palette from up. I think it is very glittery, big particles and it does not stay on my lid and there is a lot of fall out. It looks really odd on the eyes. The lip crayons I like Shaka the most, Waikiki is okey but not my favourite, thinking of giving it away to someone. Overall happy with the palette (except for one shade), like 1 lippie (shaka), indifferent to Waikiki.
Rise n Shine will stay as my absolute favourite lippie and I think I will sometimes use Shaka. So lip crayons I think we had the same thoughts and I maybe liked the Coconuts palette more.

Does it vary by country whether their palettes come with mirrors? I hate palettes without mirrors but I feel like most of the palettes now come without them (in the US)

I have the same issue with Colourpop shadows pulling pink/red when using anything warm or brown. I still love their formula but I have to be very picky about what I want the colors to be before I buy a shade/palette. This palette was okay. I’m glad I have it but it isn’t my favorite neutral.

Undertones are so tricky! I have the same problem with cool toned lipsticks looking grey on me, but the opposite problem with eyeshadows... I gave away my Double Entendre palette because all the shades looked extremely orange on me and not brown/neutral at all. I guess I probably have a neutral or olive skin tone, but I just can't tell!
it is so tricky!! double entendre is super warm, if ur looking for something more brown or neutral try the i think i love u palette. i havent used it in ages but from memory it sounds like it will suit u better!

Hey! I've got the same palette and have a hard time with the glitters (coco crush). When I apply it I feel like it's too loose and spreads all over my eyelid !! Do you have a tip to keep it to stick where you apply it? I really love your makeup it's really pretty !
You could use a glitter glue underneath the glittery shades. If you don't have/ want to buy a glitter glue, you can use just a tiny bit of sticky lip gloss to give the glitter something to stick to!
I hate eyeshadow that look too warm like yes please, and too cold like going coconut, you have recommendations for neutral color n pastel everyday color cute color that not too much still sattel on eye please
I felt the same way, I was so excited for the palette and then kinda disappointed. The shades all look really similar in person. At least it’s affordable and I do enjoy collecting colourpop collections!

I watched your videos when deciding whether I should buy colourpop's products for the first time and I am so glad I did, your videos are extremely informative and helpful to me, especially since we have nearly the same skin tone and hair color! I had the same concerns about this palette looking greyish on me and I'm very grateful for your video before deciding whether to buy it or not. Although I think the looks you created are beautiful, I totally get what you mean about it not looking the way you thought with these tones.
I am wondering, what is your all time favorite neutral palette? I am starting a new job soon and I'm looking for a neutral palette which will suit my skin tone and hair color which is very similar to yours, and would be suitable for an office, everyday type of looks. Doesn't have to be Colourpop! (Although I am very curious about the Bare Necessities palette and will be looking forward to your video on that one if you plan on making one ^^)

I just purchased this palette because I liked the color story and all the hype, best palette etc... But I agree with you. It doesn't blend easily compared to other CP palettes I have and the colors can look ashy on some of us. I'm disappointed...
