I have caught the hybrids exactly where you caught them. The stocking schedule is correct on your part but there are so many big ones…we chased a group the same size like you guys did for two weeks. They moved miles, also you catch the biggest on spooks
Chicken livers > gizzards. Crispy chicken livers are amazing. The best ever were at the hungry traveler restaurant in Henrietta OK, sadly its gone though. I will attest that Babe's chicken in Sanger, TX is great. The hybrids in grand may be a fun distraction next spring during the basscat tournament 😉
For me whenever I target hybrids they always seem to be shallow no more than 15ft on main lake points and as the day goes on they seem to go 30-40ft off the same points. Have caught a bunch right at 8-9lbs and one weighing 10.4. Best bait seem to be jighead minnow if not a small deep dive crank
A true 10 lb hybrid is a freak. I doubt there are any in grand. If you do your research there are a few lakes on OK that has produced double digit hybrids. Never heard of any coming out of grand though. And on the blue gill, unless you have a stocked protein fed pond, I very highly doubt you will catch an 11” Blueguill in Oklahoma. A pound and a half red ear is achievable in certain very select public water. But they won’t be 13” long. A 20” small mouth is very doable. I’ve cautht more than 1 bass 24 inches or longer that didn’t go 10 lbs as well. Extremely hard to believe yall could not score a 15” crappie.

What’s the biggest you have caught on Grand?
By tomorrow morning there will be zero parking spaces remaining at all Grand Lake boat ramps😂
Stefan had me rollin when he was describing your gizzard gobbling😂😂 “It was impressive” lol
“There is nothing funny about ordering gizzards” 😂😂
Haven't seen Thomas for many years, he's an old Iowa boy. He used to fish my Hawgz tournaments. Great competitor!
You know what else likes chicken gizzards? Hybrids believe it or not.

This is gonna be fun
Love me some gizzards!
I used to target hybrids a ton on Ohio river and if it wasn’t over ten you didn’t even talk about it but 8 pounders are a blast
Where is the link to the aftco giveaway?
