I am stuck between choosing the Pad 8 or the Pad X9 because both have their own merits. The Pad 8 has a bigger and better screen and also comes with a charger. The Tab X9 is newer, has a faster cpu and the latest version of Android which should allow for more updates over the next two years. At the moment the Tab X9 is only £20 cheaper than the Tab 8 and that's little more than the price of a decent fast charger which I will have to buy separately so the relative price is basically the same. I will be using the tablet mainly for browsing, chatting and streaming live sports and watching programs but am not particularly bothered about gaming. I am leaning more towards the Tab X9 because it is the newer model but am concerned about how the sound works in portrait given that it only has speakers on 3 sides, which means that the right side in portrait doesn't have speakers. Is this an issue or barely noticeable? Also, when in split screen mode in landscape, which i would sometimes use to watch a sport and use a chat app at the same time how does the keyboard work? Does it stay within the chat app part or will it still take up the full width of the tablet? Btw, I really like your reviews, very precise and informative. Got thumbs up and subscribed from me!
Honors own website state that this honor pad x9 does NOT support a sim card, i am very confused. I will wait until mine is delivered today and check it for myself. Good vid.
Just got the tablet and obviously you don't get lte or additional storage either shame. Just have to use usb data sticks with a type c to usb converter for addition storage. Argos uk touted this on their web site as having additional microsd storage up to 1 tb, lying fockas...that's Sir Greens slimy style.@@klgadgettv
For me the best in medium range. Snapdragon 685 are decente for Cod and other games than helio g99 , processor armed in other medium tablet ....for 170 € Is the best
If you are looking for a budget friendly 11.5 inch tablet that you are not doing any serious gaming on and LTE 4g connection is not an issue then it is quite a good tablet for the price. My main issue with Argos who sold me the tablet I purchased. Was that their advertising was misleading. They stated that the tablet I purchased had extended storage capability of up to 1 tb via microsd card, to which it did not.@@rbtube2111
sadly you can only get the tablet in UK. lots of people looking for the tablet with keyboard. sqw another video that advertises it with a keyboard. Would have bought but sadly looking at alternatives for my mother.
Yeah nah, your intro is misleading. iPad 9 is still the best budget iPad because it is much more powerful than the Honor Pad X9, better software support, better app optimization and better cameras. You should've compared this tablet to the Samsung Tab A8 or Redmi Pad or even the Oppo Pad Air.
@@klgadgettva lot of iPad 9 sellers sell these below $300 ranging from $240-$275 brand new. The original accessories for the iPad 9 sure is expensive and that's where 3rd party accessories came in like Goojodoq for 1/4 of the price of the original and works just as well. I do agree about the 64gb which is too small nowadays. With all those in mind, I believe it is still a bad comparison. Why not compare it to the tablets I mentioned in the comment above since their on the same price range ? Wouldn't that make more sense?
How does it works with stylus?
Can i rely on this for a subtitute working laptop? For light excels,or for using microsoft 365?
Me asking for the same question
Perfect as external monitor, for this price it is one of the best screens

I'm also hasitating between these two.. Is the pad 8 screen really better?
U can disable the on-screen keyboard in settings. I ordered the x9 bc its cheaper for me as a student and it's their latest tab
What did you choose between the two?
I'm also in the same confusion,,, kindly share your experience 😅

UK version does not have 4g lte nor a microsd card slot. The Malaysian market has both for about £200.
@user-cu6ez2er2l
''I do not miss amoled displays, but I wish this one had an amoled display'' .... ok mate
I'm assuming he meant he doesn't miss it for the price because either way it's a bargain.
this just tft display normale not ips
Amoled is expensive. Just ips screen .
this one rm 1099 with 6 speakers, nice!
Where do I get that case?
Where can i buy the keyboard case you have?
It comes with the keyboard
By any chance you tried hooking it up with an external SSD to back up SD memory cards?
I have and it works, but cumbersome compared to an internal large microsd card.
Is this IPS LCD or TFT LCD panel? Thanks.
Tft
does it have an active pen?
Does it support display output
i search on google and there is everywhere mention. it's not cellular, and it's display is TFT not IPS.
and one more thing, if i want to buy this TFT panel model is have good display or not or i have to look for another option.
It's a TFT IPS screen which is stated on the Honor website. Don't confuse TFT with TN.
Can I use it for trading ?
Horror pad x9 is very good by it now he had a six speakers it's very nice
This is honestly sufficient for people depending solely on LTE
Yes and with that keyboard included, I see almost no reason to go for other similar priced tablets
Does it have Sim card slot?
Does it have desktop mode and headphone hole?
Can i write on this tab??
How is the screen quality? Comparable to MI pad 6?
Pretty comparable, in fact I feel this has better brightness than Mi Pad 6.
I have this tablet but it doesnt have a sim slot
Can u use USB port for OTG ....?

Sir this honor good the signal any country

L1 confirmed!
I assume there is a 4g lte version and a wifi only version of this tablet, but for the life of me I cannot find the different model numbers!
Actually, for three days now, I have been confused as to which one to choose. Is there really no difference other than this!

Correct, but for a few extra quid I would have proffered the 4g lte and up to a 1 terabyte microsd card facility.@@rbtube2111

Which is better this honor pad x9 or huawei matepad 11.5?
Huawei Matepad 11.5 is definitely a better device but way more expensive
Such a shame that it doesn't have a Desktop Mode built in. It has a nice, huge screen and an official keyboard cover.

Powerful, but have you considered how expensive it is once you add up the accessories? Let alone the storage you get, it isn't an affordable tablet.
