To be fair he couldn't really go back to the drawbridge as there was a werewolf chasing him. So proceeding inward hoping to find someone who could help, or a secondary gate to leave through, is reasonable to me.
Also people tend not to think straight when panicking.
Especially people like Carmen Electra.
Ran a Strahd Dies Tonight game last night using these maps. The players got it into their head the castle could shift staircases so I went with it and used it to pull interesting routes to their tarroka drawings.
The 7 players were able to finish the vampire off with the sunsword, some sneak attacks, and a blessed alchemy jug for a solid 5 hour game.
Sounds like an AWESOME Session! Super cool

The fact that this exists at all is breathtaking, but adding the Ultimecia Castle theme from FF8 makes it perfect.
For me it was always the best choice for this scene :D And FF8 is my favourite part!
Holy crud dude. I am legitimately dumbfounded by this. After making these maps for my adventure, I know the detail ms in and out. You nailed all of it, down to the smallest of details. And all in beautiful 3d cgi forms. This is spectacular.

Simply incredible. Ran this as a DM for my groups first 5E game - this is so accurate it's scary. That castle is an amazing dungeon to play in!
Either this is ahead if it's time, or right on time... Either way I am amazed and awed.
In the end I just used what's available. It's all the beauty of the Unreal Engine and some time and skill =)

Unfortunately, i fear you missed a balcony that is supposed to be inside the morninglord chapel, at the first floor.
Looking at the map, I don't believe the chapel has any balconies on the first floor.
The Balcony is there but NOT on the map render. It is a seperate overlay file so you can walk UNDER the balcony in FoundryVTT. It even has the two thrones and the zombies in them.

amazing. only complaint I have is how quickly you are turning the camera and how that causes this blur effect which makes some nausea. that aside this is incredible. the gargoyles and dragons would have attacked on his way out.

Just one question, i know you separate the map in sections to otimize the ambient sound. However, do you have a fully castle ravenloft map in only one grid? I think it would facilitate the navigation inside it.
Hey Ibra, I needed to split the maps because videos are not as simple as static images. They are much bigger and I coud only use a 4K resolution at max back then =)
