Drew definitely acts a little too cocky- yet he uses Drago, one of the most top decks right now. Zard is slowing down heavily in the meta. Drago is overrated.
I feel like he knows it too and uses it to throw his opponent off ever so slightly. He's one of my least favorite guys to watch on youtube because of it. Gives me the ick a little.
One play I do not understand is, on Game 3 at 1:08:30, why doesnt he bring up the Zard, goes for Exegg, gets a 2 price knockout, and then do the same with a boss next turn, easily 4 prices. I am getting into Drago so I am learning but killing the charmander made no sense to me.
@@AdamCubangbangTCG OHHHH yeah, mb I forgot that the Exegg is only for Basics, well that explains all of it haha. Thank you, now I can see his way of thinking alot better
@@AdamCubangbangTCG well then another trivial question that I just came across. I just built my Regidrago, a bit differently to make it flexible for all deck encounters. But I came across an issue. Mimikyu with a Mist Energy attached. Would Exegg work, or Haxorus? Or how does the interaction work? Cheers!
@@AdamCubangbangTCG im using 90% similar deck list to get turney league on my country. But i cut -1 iono with +1 roxanne, try it, it really burn hurt for your opponent.
Adam also judge shuffled me into the stones, and the opponent out of good cards on judge shuffles the entire day. I needed the boss to win it HAD to be a judge shuffle.
Wouldnt say bad but that t1 game 3 could have been sequenced better, no need for turo. Forcing him to KO the radzard or gusting around it seemed better if he had nest ball for rotom and FS stone for arven @@AdamCubangbangTCG

Drew allowing the instant charge at 39:50 was a top tier player moment!
Yeee we like to have players do the most optimal turns to have better gameplay 😄

Exegg only kills basic pokemon on either active or bench (heads active, tails bench) if he hits heads, he doesnt get a KO, so thats very risky
The play he did is so he can set up a Giratina Kill on the charizard or Dragapult kill on the Fez

@DennisSikorski-vc5xf no problem! Alolan eggs would be absolutely BUSTED if it can KO any pokemon hahah

Good game! Good luck to homie going to Toronto!
Hes one of the many locals here who are going to Toronto!
Really? That’s awesome! Hope everyone does good! I’ll be watching the stream
Why call a judge shuffle?
Just for fun and make it more official haha
