I think the gorgeous naked lady and children depicts an important ancient myth which became popular again in the 20th century (it is often seen on ancient Greek pottery). It shows Leda, Queen of Sparta who in the myth was raped/seduced by Zeus (King of the Greek gods) disguised as a swan. She had 4 important children: Helen (of Troy), Clytemnestra, and Castor and Pollux (heavenly twins), two fathered by her husband the king, and two by Zeus. If there are two or four children that is the story here. I think it is lovely and the shape of the object is very like some of the ancient Greek cups. Such a good sale.
I agree and I absolutely thought it was beautiful!
I’m so 😅
Tina, you are by far my favorite reseller!
Loved that sale! They gave you enough floor space to walk around. I chuckle when you zip all over the place.......Awesome😊
This was a beautifully well organized sale.
Amazing trench art was still there🥰
I love it when your tired 😂 😂. You are such a delight!
Yes, trench art and highly collected! Great finds!
At 30:44 I was laughing at what you said about a bowl with a nude lady on one side. You crack me up on your videos. Plz keep videos coming and sharing with us
Many have commented on the trench artillery shell you picked up, but I just wanted to add a quick additional note. My stepdad was in field artillery during Viet Nam and it was still "a thing" then. He has two that his troops gifted him from that time. It is very cool and highly collected. Great pick up!
That 'bullet.' Is probably from WW1 and was a shell that was used to fire from the massive guns and the cases would be spat out.. The shells produced those massive craters you always see on old war footage from the time.
The men would use the spent shell cases and make 'trench art' which is what that piece is that you picked up. Usually vases etc to send home as mementos.
I don't know if shells were used in WW2 or Vietnam. Unfortunately, my interest only lies with WW1.
Hope that's of some help to you :)
I think you should make your money back on the trench art bullet. Surprised it was still sitting there.
And more!
I agree and for only 1 dollar!
I agree. It could be WW1 OR 2. The numbers on the bottom should tell you the year the bullet was made like the 45 would be 1945. It's wonderful art and very very collectible!!! Nice find

I don't think Tina actually understands what she found. If it's actually what we think it is. Just sitting at a rummage of all places.
The Pooh Lenox. I LOVE it.
You have such a good eye for things. The best sale!! You are so funny
You are so fast at picking, trench art is in high demand, nice sale🥰
Ohhhh..trench art..very collectable!
Tina, you are hysterical! That Orrefors! I just sold a pair of candlesticks a few months back for $75. I had them at $90 but took that offer. They were beautiful but not my style!
Tina, you are so cool to watch my favorite by frank especially love watching you zoom all over the place you Crack me up
Awesome rummage sale! The artillery shell art is collectable. Good find. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I don't know how you find the time but I certainly appreciate it. I have learned so much from you and never fail to give me a good laugh!
Tina I think ur right recheck U had more the white plate small one yes sure they didn’t leave a box 📦 behind 🤔👍🏻👍🏻
OMG, you're hilarious 😂 you're description of the glass vase... I'm dying
I just love when you go to these rummage sales! Your little feet were flying over those wood floors so fast you must have had the floors scorched.
Loved that leaf vase!
Nice haul....love your delirious laugh😂
Good job gal good pics you like a lot of the same things I like. I Need to sell more and not keep because I enjoy unique finds . Lol
Hi Tina. I really enjoy all your videos and think you're hilarious. I was at this Westfield rummage sale and my lower half appeared on your video a few times. Lol I couldn't help cracking up. I just wish I wasn't so focused on the merchandise to notice you and say hello.
That is my kind of sale!! Saw so many things that I loved!
I would so buy that trench art!!!
I laughed at your video when you talked about running over your inventory with your car --- I have done JUST that very thing!!! LOL ... "yeah, I have enough room to squeeze in there ..... yeah, no ... not so much..."
Holy crap! I know the artist Mary Judge. I know her in her personal life and have never seen her art in the wild. I believe that is an olive oil dipping dish.
You really did find some unusual items! But you most always do very well with them! That was a very nice sale a little while tight squeeze on occasions. I definitely liked how they had it set it up also. That was a great idea to have holding tables. I personally was not impressed with there belts, but I’m really not into them so! You can make me laugh every time I watch you! Love your videos! Wish you luck on your sales
You wore me out racing around that sale!!! LoL you got a lot of nice things. I like the odd pieces. We always buy the odd pieces or pieces we don’t know what it is!
Hi Tina! Loved this sale because there were some really unusual things. Thanks for sharing your haul!
Hi Tina . It’s a small military rocket / missile / bullet case, not exactly sure what you call it . ( old , vintage ) they use them a lot here in Greece , to create art ………
Hi Chris! I was thinking about you at this Greek church! You can probably tell me what the snacks I bought are called.
@@GeminiThrifts think the biscuits you bought are made with almonds and sesame, usually have them with coffee or tea . In Greek we call them voutimata . There a different types of voutimata ………
Maybe you could have it etched over into something else, like a tattoo cover up?
Tina, great pickups!
I love the way you crack up at the things you say and do.
I get so mad at myself when I buy something that has been glued 😅
It is!! Trench Art!!!! There’s a video a few! It will it will
It is! Toy went up I had no idea I sure gave an old friend 1 everytime!! 😊
Great sale very organized love the haul
Someone asked on another if there was profit in silverware. Made a comment to watch you, the "Queen of Flatware!" 🎇🎇🎇🎆🎆🌈🌈🌈
Great haul. ❤❤
Comcast 😂😂😂😂 terrific sale !!!!!!!
Maybe the glass piece could be Leda and the Swan? It looked like Lalique.
I thought Lalique as soon as I saw it also.
The large bullet that you picked up is called trench art, can be very valuable
U scored! $120.00 game changer!!😊
Whoever set up that sale was smart enough to realize room to walk btwn tables and down rows is important. Ppl will not take one more trip around the room if it's a hassle. Such a simple concept.
Carol Harris Ceramics is where your leaf vase came from! The mugs on her website go for $70.
Great haul, thanks for the video!
Oh wow! My daughter lives in that town! I wish there were sales like that down here in South Jersey!
Love how you explain what you think of the items , it must be so hard to do and film at the same time. ❤
You passed Pyrex antique, and the vase! Stoneware!!!!😊
the bullet thing I believe is called trench art
it is a artillary shell vase!
The "bullet" is a shell casing of a 75 millimetre shell that was fired from a M18 field gun (you know, those kind of big guns with the wheels?). Someone has later done some artful decorating of the used shell.
Life is melamine!
Hahahah
I believe the art is on an artillary shell.
Love your channel, your pick ups are close to what I would do. You keep me inspired to keep going
Best shopping ever watched 😂
When you pick up flatware what do you look for specifically before you buy it? Does the brand matter ? Quality? Pattern? Etc…
That sale was a.lot of fun for me to watch because you were able to move around easily. The many circular tables really opened it all up! And you got some great stuff... I have to laugh at the crystal decanter! The stopper might sell well. Larkin is asleep alongside me on the cluch.
Well, another comment and Spell Checker interacts with my typos... She is sleeping beside me on the Couch.
Great sale. So well laid out. Look up vase made from an artillery shell , trench art. It's too big to be a bullet.
They call that bullet, Trench Art.
heehee bullet, think its a brass artillery shell - sweet find
Trench Art Very Good Instincts!!
It’s an artillery shell, not a bullet. Very cool!!
$2.00!!!!! Is a marriage cup I think is called my granddaughter has a passion for Crystal!! She’s only 9 she loves my stuff 😊
You traveled pretty far for a rummage sale. I used to work at Target in Fairfield NJ.
It was actually Westfield, I had my field wrong , but still out there lol
Tina-do you set out with a max amount to spend? I’ve seen your warehouse videos and it seems like you have an incredible amount of merchandise. Do you feel the need not to buy sometimes until more is sold? I ask because I love finding things so much but I have lots I still hope to sell so I don’t thrift as much as I’d like to!
What she say about the lenox you can't give it away I don't know about that it seems to be coming back a little bit better, I've always liked Lenox it's very high quality ❤❤
Loved the video.
Another great one!!
Great time
I hate it when I miss a repair job. Sometimes you get excited....and....
Great finds 🇦🇺
What a beautiful piece of trench art.
31:30 Leda and the Swan
How do I find your eBay store site?
Received my pampered chef bowl today all safe and sound. Ty Tina🥰
It is a great sale, just slow down!
The big glass goblet mite be old.looks like from the twenty's or thirty.?? Let us know. Ok
Many things, so little time.
The bullet is called trench art I believe
If the duck is a swan then the etching could depict a Greek myth involving Zeus and Leda. Leda sleeps with Zeus while he is in the form of a swan. Later that night she sleeps with her husband. Two eggs are produced. From the eggs 4 children hatched. Two belong to Zeus and two belong to her husband the king of Sparta.
There you go!! Fascinating 😊
That is called trench art the bullet
Your giant bullet vase is known as trench art.
Wheres ur bag Tina?
Love Winnie the Pooh but it’s Eeyore for me! Soo gloomy !
possible the nude lady glass thingy is depicting a green myth ... I could not a good look at it through the screen so I can not tel which greek myth it might depicting
One other thought: Do you ever have a garage sale to thin out merchandise that isn't selling?
A CDior it’s always $ even w no items u can buy!!
❤❤❤❤❤
💜💜💜💜
Your filming makes me feel car sick!
Could you do your hauls closer?
Everyone’s walking around wearing tank tops and shorts but there’s one person in a fur coat. Did you notice that? I can’t even imagine how bad that person smells. How can you wear a for coat in this hot hot weather? The person must be insane!
the artist should of stopped at the naked lady .... sometimes less is more LOL
Tina Tina Bkbina!!!
Hahaha! First comment tonight!
Second!😅
@bizzielizzie913 Hi!
lolo
Great sale, but leisurely stroll?? Please slow down so we can actually see what you are looking at, and please be more careful. You're all over the place, and you end up with broken items.
You went too fast. I bet you missed some good stuff😂
