And another very very good vid. Yeah youvreally deserve more
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it. More to come. Cheers!
You deserve way more subs great vid
Thanks Lachlan, that's awesome to hear. I plan on cranking out lots of videos from here on out, so hopefully the word will spread!
Lachlan Green nice one lachie
2018 ... June 19: 53K subscribers , thanks , congrats and well done!
Literally used this yesterday. B-Line ROCKS! Best starter.
Good to hear! Ya it's a great run to start things off, for sure.
gnatinator del Boca vista is my favorite trail because it's green tech so beginners can ride it but itsbalso fun for expert riders because you just do it but 5x faster.
I'm from Cardiff, Wales. I doubt I'll ever get to ride in Whistler but I love watching videos like this. Keep up the good work.
Cheers! Glad you're liking them. I'll bet you'll get there one day!
I'm sure you'll be able to get there one day, after all, people from all over the world come to Whistler!
You deserve more subs! I love this stuff, now at home with a broken collarbone, watching stuff like this, keep it up!
dude! almost 150 subscribers with this content? Your channel is going to grow pretty fast keep it up man!! great footage
Thanks! I was just going to make a 100 subscribers video and the next thing I see it's at 150 haha. So cool to see. I'll keep posting quality vids for you guys!
@@TheLoamRanger so cool, 2 years later went from 100 subs to 165k, keep up the quality vids bud
I absolutely love the commentary on these vids!!! Keep up the good work!
+GLB Vlogs glad you're liking it! It's fun making them.
The camera is so stable when your riding you definitely deserve more subscribers
I'll make sure to hit this before going on any hard trails there
It's a great warm up/bike check lap, for sure.
for some fun trails, hydrocut kitchener is my go to because it has flowy trails, but it also has hard, tiring, technical trails.
I'm going today so I'm starting with this trail
Haven’t been to Whistler but it is on our vacation plans for a couple years from now. This is a great idea. I’ve often wondered where to start: green, blue, random trail? Thanks Loam Ranger!
You're very welcome! Whistler can be pretty overwhelming when you first get there.
FullFaceJosh dude start green but you can move up straight after it. Literally only rode EZ does it straight to crank it up
Awesome vids man! I like the fact that you showed foutage of B line, more suitable for me and my kids I think. Nice job getting a novel idea that gives great information, not just stroking your own ego. Very informative. I am very impressed.
Thanks Richard! I'm always just trying to make vids that I would want to see, going into a place I've never been before, so less of my face and more trail/commentary is what I lean towards. Glad to see you're getting some use out of it. Cheers!
The Loam Ranger yrah, less of some dude doing trail whips and more guidance and useful info. That other stuff is cool and all, but this is definitely a neglected niche. Shred on!
Earnt yourself a subscriber. Nice video with great commentary.
Awesome to hear, thanks! I'll keep cranking em out.
Thanks for showing us this route! Great video!
MLO VISUAL You're very welcome :D Thanks for checking it out!
Great video! Keep it up.
Thanks Natasha!
Wow Awesome Flow Trail😍👌🔥💯💜🇨🇦🚴🏁👍🤘
It's a lot of fun!
thanks im going to whisler in 7 months so this was helpfull
Nice one, looking to come over 2021 thanks for your edits 🤘
Best MTB channel name on UA-cam 👍🏻
Zane Taylor Cheers! It's awesome to hear good feedback. I'll be putting out plenty more videos. If you ever have any ideas or suggestions for content you'd want to see let me know!
Great videos!
Thanks! Glad you like them.
well done with the commentary!
Thanks man. Glad it's helpful!
These videos are awesome
Great video, glad to see not just Canadian content but Canadian rider! Do you ever ride Bragg Creek area?
Thanks man! I've done Moose Mountain a few times but never the trail riding network around Bragg Creek. That'll be changing sooner than later hopefully! What's your favourite trail?
Oh man, so many great trails to choose from. Merlin view loop is a ton of fun as is ranger summit and strange brew. Hope to see you out there in the near future! Keep up the good work!
Can you ride the B-line with a hardtail bike??
You definitely can! I always recommend renting a good quality full suspension bike for parks like Whistler though.
The Loam Ranger thanks for the information
I so want to go here, it just costs too much to fly from the uk and rent gear
Ya it's definitely a big trip from the UK. Keep an eye on those flight deals and make it happen one day!
Same pain bro
So unfortunate man! I live 1 hour from Vancouver so I can drive to whistler in 3-5 hours I believe!
@@jace6349 same
personally I think crank it up is a great first trail because it gets you right into jumps that whistler has but there not to big so they are easy to do. great vid though!!
I think it depends on what you're looking for. Crank It Up is my go-to first lap as well, but this one has a bit of everything, which is a great thing for someone just getting their feet wet.
true
Good vids
dne vlogs thanks!
Very useful thx
I will go this year so im watching this videos
Looks really fun!! What bike are you riding?
Sweet channel
Thanks Aron!
Any issues riding more slowly on B-line? I will be going with my son next summer when he is 5 years old. He's ridden trails similar to B-line, but he won't be riding anywhere close to as fast as you.
Loam Ranger! 🤣 Love that name.
I have seen so many people try B-line for their first run in the Park and say that it was to scary for them! In my opinion, do Easy Does It!
I forgot to mention that Easy Does It is for people how are still uncomfortable on bikes. But yes B-Line is a perfect line for Intermediate Riders who are new to the Bike Park.
Exactly, berms are fine for people who have ridden a trail of any kind before but the sideways gravity sensation is weird for those that haven’t done it before
you know, seeing the last part of EZ Does It in this video it looks like there’s a lot less rocks than when I went, from that tunnel to the end where you get to the lifts again there is a ton of rocks and breaking bumps now as compared to this video for some reason.
Ya things can change fast!
The Loam Ranger yeah definitely, can’t wait till I won’t need to take that part down and just use the other ones so I don’t have to worry too much about all those rocks, hoping to go back at the end of the month.
Is the Whistler bike park mostly a downhill riding area? The most aggressive bike I have access to is the Rocky Mountain element, more of a cross country bike. I ride quite a bit cross country and have a fair amount of biking experience. This trail seems like a good start to the area, would I need a downhill bike to ride it? What are the conditions like in the spring?
Hi just wondering if going to whistler from the 1st July to the 14 th is a good idea for waetther conditions and if the top of the world will be open , for next year
i love b-line to heart of darkness
That’s a good one!
Hey can I ask when is the best time/date , to ride the top of the world trail in whistler I would love to go when it's in the perfect conditions
Hey I'm a kid in Vancouver, I was wondering what would be some good trails for me? I've only ever been to the watershed in delta.
+Negotiator007 oh man, I don't even know where to start! You've got so much to ride it's ridiculous haha. Honestly your best bet would be to swing by your closest bike shop and ask what they recommend for the area. You could also download the Trailforks app and check out the different riding areas that way. It really depends on what you're looking for (beginner trails, techy trails, jump trails etc).
I cut my teeth in the water shed...
Dont hang your head it has a wide variety of stuff and is AMAZING for cardio and skills practice. I now have a bike worthy of Whistler and am STOKED to hit B Line, Ninja Cougar etc!
Not sure what your riding but make sure it is mechanically sound and strong enough for miles and miles of abuse!!!
Good luck
nice
I can do it as long as there isnt any huge airtime jumps. For some reason I just panic mid air and end up face first in the dirt. I can handle speed just the jumps get to me.
What is that thing on the left side of your handlebar next to the dropper post remote?
Wow
Can you take those trails on a dirt jumper
Verde music playlists well you could ya, but most of the year you're dealing with braking bumps that would rattle your bike and your body to pieces! You'll have a better time on a properly set up, full suspension bike, IMO.
Ok
Paxton I recently went here and I’d never ridden a lift access mountain bike course before and rented an Enduro bike from the Arbutus Routes store and by my 4th lap my body was pretty sore and my legs were cramping up, so if you’re not used to it I’d definitely suggest renting at least an Enduro Bike or a DH Bike.
Would this track still be ok for kids?
I usually ride at Blue Mountain bike park in Ontario, and ride up to back jump and double black tech, what do you think would be comparable trails at Whistler?
I've never been to Blue Mountain before unfortunately, but it sounds like you hit a pretty wide range of trails, so when you get to Whistler, check out the trail legend, pick one and send it. Can't really go wrong at Whistler. Even trails like A-Line have some tech blended in!
The Loam Ranger Ok thanks I figure I'll go b line then crank it up end work from there.
Would I be able to do any of these easy trails on an xc bike like the Giant Anthem?
Yes I think you can
Any tips on buying a budget friendly dh around 1000$
Check Pinkbike buy/sell. There should be some decent $1000 rigs on there!
Giant Reign in a lower spec, a few years old would be a good bet!
Strong, reasonably light and not to old for the $$$
I wish I lived near whistler
+Metalhead Max me too!
Hey what kind of bike is that I'm looking to buy one "trail bike"?
Here's a recent bike check video that covers the bike in this video (and most of my other videos too): ua-cam.com/video/fCMD2f4nTAs/v-deo.html I've really enjoyed riding it this season!
Ngl, i dont even know why im watching this, i've never even been to Whistler, and as of now probably wont go there any time soon
do you know of any good guides
gimbal = sub'd
How fast are you going
Not sure, really. Probably around 30km/h I'd think
is it ok if I use a hard tail at the bike park?
Ivan yup you can ride whatever you want 😊
@@v2nohanation365 I will be that only guy with a hard tail XD also I might look like a noob...
It’s fine there’s lots of other people there with hard tails people won’t care if your riding a 10,000 dollar bike or a 100 bike
@@v2nohanation365really? Because I just want to fit in and not get left out lol also a hardtail might be harder to ride there so I will practice alot
dude this is freaking sick, great video. i was thinking of starting on b-line when i went there to becuase i am already a decent rider. great video i love the commentary while your riding. you think i could shout you out on my Instagram page? i have around 730 followers. really want them to know about your channel!!
Thanks! Ya you're more than welcome to share the channel. The URL is ua-cam.com/users/TheLoamRanger
Cheers
thanks man, whistler was sick!
Good to hear!
Looking good. I'm missing Whistler right about now.
The Loam Ranger hey van u put subs in ur vids? Sometimes its hard to Gear what u say.
Tnx
Nice vid
Bye
You ride clips??
Never been into real mountains, snow in the summer??
Yup, at higher elevations the snow can hang around throughout most of the summer.
Nonoririko where you at?
The Loam Ranger Yeah but not in Germany... Sadly :/
"With Ze ahh world championship.
Just casually passes famous pros
絶対怖くて出来ないけど、見るの好き
What kind of bike?
This was a Giant Reign. Check my channel for the bike I replaced it with!
What does he eat??
Me? Food, mostly. 🤔😂
Do you count as one of the guys who like to go fast?
what bike?
It's a 2017 Giant Reign 2. I'm really liking it so far. It definitely likes to take the straight line right through the rough stuff -- it's a bulldozer! I'll be putting out a full review soon. Cheers
Oigan como sedise bicicleta en inglés
Wey tiene una camara thu mancha
it would have been better if you went a bit slower, as if you were a beginner/intermediate doing the track for the first time
Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated.
Great video! We had so much fun! Here's our vlog: ua-cam.com/video/vxyHpykvkiY/v-deo.html
Your way better than this👏👏
Why those few always stop on a trail and just stay there. They are same users of trail and I believe if some one do that to them they will be upset. Please guys if you need stop just get out of trail think about others don't be selfish.
This stupid broken collarbone put my bike in the shed for a while
Ah that's no fun. I had the same thing happen to me a coupe of seasons ago. It'll heal quick and you'll be back out there soon!
Whistler is toooo expensive to indians
I went on a-line first
Attaboy.
borring
Good vids
