Such a beautiful description of enlightenment, a concept so mythologized.

The discussion of grey fits its representation in digital images; a pixel can have an intensity of 0 (black), 1 (white), or many gradations of grey in between (most famously, 256 in an 8-bit format; here 1 is black and 256 is white, so medium grey is 12. The binary is often flipped so 1 is black and 0 is white, too.
Someone who was not trained to understand or articulate exactly what they were seeing might describe a caesarean section birth as a ‘birth through the hip’ ;)
P.S. this also could explain why his mother passed away shortly thereafter…
Interesting theory! I wonder. But I don’t know! :-)❤
This was brilliant and will continue to be. I love the idea that we are all living in a house of mirrors. ❤
other older stories have to us bizzare parts also. random examples: Pythagoras had a golden thigh(??), Creation of life from clay in myths, also stories like Adam, Lilith, Eve, Helen of greeks. The god Zeus daughter Athene was born from his head fully allready fully formed. it is maybe a metaphor how a personified idea was thought into exsistance. all gods are immortal ideas, people are just from time to time hosts to these immortal ideas(or who goes full on into mystics in human life maybe meets them even as separate beings in life adventures. Zeus and the counter being Nyx(night). Zeus the name - long time to people was known that name meant day. it's offtopic what i say but maybe not so if draw parallels and think in between lines. Gautamas life stories bizarre parts don't seem so weird if compare with other humanitys stories. maybe they were mutants with super powers or source energy ignored our logic just to create happening what went into told storys, i mean Gautama even teleported. who knows
Didn't Gotama also encounter a dead body on his excursion?
