I'm back and I'm never going away! From here on, I plan to do as many tutorials as I can per week. I've also upgraded my PC and from now on you'll be able to watch tutorials in up to 4k quality. Thanks for the support! Tesla.
What about making a material world aligned that has foor example, rock on the bottom (or dirt) and grass on the top? you use en any objetct, thanx! great totorial!
Is this easily applied to full materials? Can you use multiple lerp nodes to blending more than two materials into the perlin noise node or should multiple perlin noise nodes be combined?
Hi Tesla, great video. I have a question. If you have 2 completely different weapons in Unreal engine 4, and 1 Weapon when you import has textures but the other weapon has no textures, can you use the weapon textures from one weapon and use on the other weapon ? or do you have to apply textures in say substance painter ? or can you use Unreal 4 to apply textures to a weapon ? kind regards Danny
First of all Glad your back.Got a question,in UDK you can usethe light vector as the alpha allowing to have 2 textures lerp one where the shadows are and one where light hits it.Can something like that be done in Ue4 as well,if so it would be great if you could do a followup tutorial for that.
Hi man, thank you for all the learning. I have a question, is it possible to apply a texture to a single side of a cube mesh? or 6 different textures to all 6 different faces? im having trouble with that.
how can i create a material for a wall that has a rail? i want to wall to be grey ish (i have a texture for this) but the rail to be metallic, its one object, not 2
How do I use the main texture of a material that i've colored using the vectorparameter + blend_overlay combination, in combination with a sort of greyscale colored cloth texture? When I use the lerp I have the outcome of the blend overlay of the main texture in A, the cloth texture in alpha, and then nothing in B. This makes the entire material grey with the cloth texture but the main texture isn't visible. I can change the value for B to make the main texture visible including the vectorparameter color, but then I can't see the cloth texture. pls help i'm making the best game ever, you are my only hope.
the best unreal engine teaching channel , right to the point , no 20min video for simple things , beginner friendly , just amazing
