Never seen Downtown before, seems pretty good. Gives me Eltingville vibes but I like the characters in Eltingville more, but I should check out more Downtown. Never watched Dr Katz much either but I was aware of it. One of my favorite bits from this episode is when Dr Katz is talking to his patient, the music swelling up as the dude gets into a really sad story, only for Katz to reveal the music is diegetic and is just an alarm for when the session is done.
That’s funny, I was just trying to remember the name of the show that downtown reminds me of. The beginning share similar scenes.
