- I was watching @mrpokkee's podcast as I was doing Honkai Star Rail's event. I didn't intend to make this into a video, but I felt some of the topics discussed during this podcast along with the things I brought up while watching this were worth highlighting.

@@tonyhart2744Sure, but then, knowing that it's not the normal way to play, content creators like Mtashed should not complain that it has not enough content to be played 24/7.

What im trying to say is that Gacha's are not meant to be played 24/7 so it will not obviously have endless content which what these CCs wants to be able to support their "full time" job.

I like Mtashed but god he has the worst takes when it comes to gacha game.
My guy plays 12-16hrs a day and said the game lacks content and wants the game to be at his pace.
Neither the devs nor the avg player can keep up with his pace.
He does this all the fkin time. He wants the games to be like MMO but at the same time he doesn't even play any MMOs that already exists like FF14.
I got same issue with him, he squeezes everything out of the game in a week by playing half a day. I admit that i play sometimes marathons for hours a day but im also aware that content will run out if players rush it.
Then again i enjoy rushing 100% exploring of zones etc and then focus on just farming etc
He keeps saying that devs should have cooked more since release...
Brother...
1) They don't have unlimited budget.
2) They don't know how successful the game will be on release. What if it just flops after, the whole company goes down.
3) Nitpicking, the game is pretty fucking cooked IMO, with the slight bugs found very quickly patching, while voice/story issue feedback was unknown without a 3rd CBT and take too long. Better to release and fix later, though it's a shame they are worse at the start.

I think there's plenty of content in WuWa right now. Honestly I'm barely able to keep up with all these games. And I do this for work 😂 I feel like Mtashed is chasing an "endless fresh content" game that literally just doesn't exist anywhere.
Guys its not even a month since its release. Just give the Devs & Game sometime, Its not end of the world! Genshin is taking million fucking yrs for a basic stupid QoL and we called it "finally". When WuWa is doing best for a new release and fixing issues we cry about it.
this is the reason i sometimes hate gacha streamers, they rush through the content get to the end and complain theres nothing to do .. like wtf do you expect, you blitzed like 2 months worth of content in 2 weeks and expect shit to be ready so fast, gacha games are a marathon, not a sprint, youre meant to only do 3-4 hours a day not 16+
if you want a gacha game with years of content that you wont catch up on in 2-3 weeks, go back and do the old gacha games, to play granblu, go play FGO, dragonball dokkan battle, FEH, dragalia lost or something, don't expect just released gacha games to have a year + of content
Exactly. But it's their job so they gotta complain I guess. Only some streamers realize the lvl of fallacy they force themselves into but no one remotely understand their frustration because NO ONE but CC's do this as a job.
The problem is that CCs are in competition with each other. If you get your "TOP 10 MISTAKES YOU SHOULD AVOID" video 2 weeks later after everybody else, nobody is gonna watch it. They have to go fast, be among the first and release their video (even with inaccuracies, better sorry than safe with no views).
@@Darkilikill and they are aware of it. They are also aware that they are not the target audience of the game. So, it is not something to complain about. Just play another game while waiting for more content.

True, Wuwa, the game I have been waiting for so long, came and delivered. After playing Wuwa, It felt so bad to go back and explore in Genshin. Genshin chest rewards are so so so STINGY while Wuwa is more generous and rewarding. Wuwa's combat is far more amazing than Genshin "E Q Swap -> repeat".
Mtashed was like "I know that this game is not supposed to be played the way I play it but I'm gonna complain anyway."
I have noticed that no matter what the gacha game is, his complaint is always the same: "Give me infinite content."
I know they talked.a bit about the status quo, but not every status quo has to be broken. Every type of game has its own audience. Imagine if they made Elden Ring very casual just to break the status quo of souls-like games requiring at least some semblance of skill. Gacha games are for casuals. No need for itnto cater to you, Mtashed
I 100% fk with Sweatly's suggestion. Having an advanced guide within the game to help people understand more deeper mechanics of a character would be really great with some rewards tied to it of course.
I play only few character like everyone else. But I don't know if I would enjoy those character either. Since I cba to watch guide for each character I most likely won't bother building athose character.
An advanced guide will help player understand better about the character and being rewarded for that is a good system imo.
I believe this could even have the capability to convert some casuals to semi hardcore because of the dopamine they get out of dealing more damage and clearing more harder content.
Mtashed is how you're at the beginning then you realise as you mature after a few gachas that actually the slow pace is nice more rewarding.
I think Tectone’s worldboss idea based on what he said is a world boss (or guild boss) with ungodly or even unlimited hp but is there for a week or something. Everyone goes and fights it and at the end, you are issued rewards based on your overall contribution to the score during that time.
Actually PGR does have a similar mechanism for their guild content. And there are certain rewards at various tiers, with the earlier tiers being pretty achievable as long as you actively participated during. In their system even if the bosses are ‘defeated’ before you do it, you can still fight and your contribution score rewarded.
Bluearchive also does this haha and nikke has guild raids

I agree that they should have a housing of sort and some system to get extra dialogues, intimacy level that trigger some events, or even gatcha for their clothing and stuff which cost lesser astrite. Lower level dungeons to farm furniture maybe? These would be good options for casuals to stick with the game. It might even spur them to spend abit for the clothing. Even it’s 6-10 dollars, with the amount of players it’s more than enough. Plus you have whales and players who like to min max to support the base system anyway.
If they implement those more casual aspects in the game , it can run longer and get bigger. I would be a happy gamer because I for one like a more challenging aspects of a game and wuwa sits in a comfy zone. Also, I am not a gatcha fan in the first place and this is the only gatcha game with characters design I really enjoy. Hope it can go on for a few years atleast. Really loving it atm.
Mtashed should really explore other gacha games. His takes is mostly.... Like an MMO player takes yknow. Endless playtime, I want to grind 25/7
Yeah Gacha culture in the countries where they make the most money do not have a ton of people completing everything in 2 weeks. Because most of them only have time to play on the way to or from work during the day...thats why resin and stuff works the way it does. its DESIGNED for you to login maybe twice a day and play.
They certainly did a lot for 1.0. The map is huge.

16:05 genshin had this and lock it behind like 3 months of reputation grind which destroys whole exploration from new zones. I still don't understand why those devs are so dumb
I do believe they will add alot more content up dates every 6 weeks if we think about it other games add content every 3 months so 6 weeks is really small amount of time to wait

He reminds me of those guys who want every single region in a one Pokemon game with a giant Pokedex

@xlightninghawk6360 mtashed is like me so i get it. I only like to play one gacha because im so hyper focused on it which creates a the mtashed problem. The fix for me is to play competitive games like fps or rn im loving for honor
I have separate pvp games to no-life so when I get losestreaks or get bad teammates, atleast I know it's time to stop playing for awhile.

about the guy saying" if you are at level for holograms you will kill it" sorry but an average player just wont not without failing many many times i would know ive spent 4+ hours trying to kill mephis lol and i come from playing soulslike games which are a joke compared to mephis. also coming from pgr kuro adds ALOT of endgame modes as kuros specialty is combat and bosses. also i find it funny when people play a game for 8+ hours every day and then claim the game "lacks content" when 60 dollar games often have between 8-16 hours of content in total lol

the real issue is the combat is schizophrenically fast. If they'd only slow all the characters down and upped the dmg per hit the gameplay would just be exponentially more enjoyable for me.

That's your issue, not a real issue for everyone else. And why would they want to slow down the characters? That's like Genshin. They are promoting a fast-paced combat. And about the damage, this game is not a damage-per-screenshot game. It's a combat game, meant for you to show your combat skills - how you use your teams. If Kuro did what you said was the "real issue", then that would just be Genshin... Another boring game
If u don't exponentially enjoy WuWa due to these factors, then that is totally fine. We have our preferences.

the only thing i absolutely hate about gacha games why in tf are there limited rescources? why dont make the players do the choice either u grind the butt off to get some pulls or just pay money? like just add stuff to farm, hell maybe just an wave mode where u get echo,weapon,res exp and some shell credits and maybe 5 asterites per clear

2:57 tectone is the biggest embodiment of irony. remember way back when he streamed genshin daily and he doesnt have anything to do after the first year and complained that for 2 years.. and here we go again back full circle.. just because they got monetary incentive from twitch drops.. they glazin hard.. i just hope kuro realize having end game stats on the first week is a bad thing.
The complaint he has with Genshin is the lack of endgame content. Like there are so many characters, so many relics and a lot skill to level... But basically nowhere to test fully them out or push them other than self imposed challenges on basic content.
Also perspectives change over time, people don't hold the same views forever. Nowadays he sees gacha games as something you "really play" for a couple hours every major patch but otherwise just log in for a few minutes to do the dailies. I believe he said something like "Gacha games are never a main game. They're a side game you check in on once in a while."
I think its not irony but maturity and gaining a level of understanding how business works

It's probably just me but wuwa is so fucking boring. And i tried so hard to like the game, but it's so disappointing for me that i would prefer to go back to PGR instead. It feels like reliving the Genshin release all over again and i honestly would prefer to shoot myself than go through this all over again.
People with no lives are complaining bout content.
