Ariane Mnouchkines “Les Atrides” bestaat uit vier delen: “Iphigénie à Aulis", "Agamemnon", "Les Choéphores" en "Les Euménides". In 1991 brengt Théâtre du Soleil de eerste drie delen van deze omvangrijke tragedietetralogie naar het Holland Festival. In deze clip is een zeldzaam interview te zien met artistiek leider van Théâtre du Soleil, Ariane Mnouchkine, en een van haar vaste acteurs, Simon Abkarian (en niet 'Abdekian' zoals verkeerd in beeld te lezen is.)
Ariane Mnouchkine’s "Les Atrides" consists of four parts: "Iphigénie à Aulis", "Agamemnon", "Les Choéphores" and "Les Euménides". In 1991, Théâtre du Soleil brings the first three parts of this extensive tragedy tetralogy to Holland Festival. In this clip a rare interview with artistic leader of Théâtre du Soleil, Ariane Mnouchkine, and one of her long time actors, Simon Abkarian (and not Abdekian as wrongly mentioned), can be seen.

Naar aanleiding van het 70-jarig jubileum (2017) en het 75-jarig jubileum van Holland Festival (2022) hebben het festival en de VPRO onder de naam ‘Holland Festival Parels’ een duurzaam online platform ingericht. Het publiek vindt hier korte televisiefragmenten uit en over producties, die het Holland Festival de afgelopen zeven en een half decennia in Nederland presenteerde. Deze televisiefragmenten van diverse publieke omroepen zoals de NTR en VPRO zijn vaak eenmalig op televisie te zien geweest. Ze zijn nu als hommage en als online archief beschikbaar gemaakt.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary (2017) and the 75th anniversary of Holland Festival (2022), the festival and the VPRO have set up a sustainable online platform under the name 'Holland Festival Gems’. Here, the audience will find short television excerpts from and about productions presented by the Holland Festival in the Netherlands over the past seven and a half decades. These television fragments from various public broadcasters such as NTR and VPRO have often been shown once on television. They have now been made available as a tribute and as an online archive.
