turn on dynamic fov because it shows if you are sprinting or not, I used to have dynamic fov as off and always fall to my death in caves because I thought I have sprint on, also in pvp it shows if you ar esprinting or not

Btw to get the fps counter on your screen (defualt/without yellow font) in 1.17.1 you go to video settings, then click on other..., then on the left side it should say like fps smthing and you click on.
