Hi Nidhi, try to use as little glue as possible when gluing paper strips, and make sure the glue you use is the type that becomes transparent after drying, and is not shiny. I'll keep in mind to talk about this in a future video, if not this year probably next year.
I painted the flowers on watercolor paper (300 gsm) and then glued quilling paper strips on top. The card base is also a paper that is thicker (around 300 gsm).
Yes, grams (the paper weight). On some projects it's easier to work with thinner papers (ex: 80 gsm) while for other projects or elements of a project it's better to work with thicker papers ( ex 300 gsm). You realize and understand why when you start working on different art projects.

Hey Miriam, would you make a video on proper gluing methods for quilling so that it doesn't leave a mark on the page.

Hey Can I please know if I can use 10mm strips for the same!
It's an emergency and I don't have any thinner strips currently 😭
Try and see how it works with 10 mm :).

What type of paper are you using?

@@MiriamsQuilling hi I was just reading the comments and I just wanted to ask : what is gsm
@@soapcd gsm stands for "grams per square meter" and it just means how thin or thick the paper is.
👌💜
what gsm mean ?? grams ?? and what the difrents between the high number and the low number ?? some ppl use 80 and u used 300 gsm :)
