Ali Ibn LaAhad Well to be very honest it's not easy to become an ismaili and practise ismaili faith ..you will need lot of understanding about esoteric interpretation of our faith and has to review the concept of Imammat and our history. tariqa and religious education board can not welcome you straight away. .you will need to read and understand lot of things and they will help you too. A Khan Hello brother. yes i do now that Ismailism is not an easy religion. you see i was born in a christian familly and converted to Shiism 2 years ago. i studied most of the religions but Shia Islam is the most logical to me. With that being said i was always fascinated by the esoteric Ismailis. The Ismaili Fatimid past and the Assasins also really interessed me. i started learning the Holy dua some time ago . Thing is i feel the need for an living Imam to exist. Ithna asharis say that the 12th is in Ghayba but God has assured he will always let an imam live with us.. i feel the shariat part of Mainstream Islam also sometimes disminishes from its beauty while Ismailism contain this deep spiritu truth found only in the living Familly of The Holy Prophet (Sawa).
