Auto throttle - bliss! The Avant achilleas is visibility - I can handle leaning forward but having to jump out is a pain. Remote camera hopefully will resolve. Small wheels limit ground clearance. The Avant is a real forestry machine, where this is, perhaps, more suited to construction/agriculture. A lovely machine though, price please! Great review Ollie.
One of my big frustrations is that the hire companies don't seem to see the need for these instead, offering mainly bigger site spec tele handlers. Personally, i can usually borrow ag spec tele handlers without massive difficulty, but no one ever has anything small. Working in landscapeing and horticulture, there is certainly a market for these sort of compact machines, and this really trumps the likes of an avant that really have a farr more limited scope.
@owenbloomfield7303 greater lift height and lift capacity, both handy when dealing with large rootball trees or setting out pallets and unloading hgvs.
Very interesting review, considering you must have limited experience of its use with it being so new. Curious as to what will be the marketing price. The crab-steer comments did not seem very favourable to the machines operation. As an Avant user, I often wish it could move sideways a little bit, to keep the forks straight.
The crab steer setup, or more lining it back up again, wasn't the easiest to use. And you're right, I only had a short time to play and then record this video. Kubota are offering me a longer term demo for me to really get to know the machine so if I have the right job, I might well have a more in depth review of this machine in the future.
Thanks for making this video. Pretty cool machine.
Hi Ollie Looks a nice handy little machine Have a good week thanks again

I see this doing really well in the landscaping market - once contractors know they exist!
Interesting viewpoint, in your opinion how does this trump the avant with more scope? Just curious

These machines have been available under the giant brand for years.
Indeed. Which is probably why he said that 0:31 seconds into the video.
Yes. In Europe. He said
Less of a door, more of a sail.
No leds come on
JCB teleskid kicks it's ass with one and a half tone life capacity and seventy five hp and it the same size 😂
Skid kicks nothing ass they very bouncy snd destroy yards
No doubt, would have more flow for attachments too, but I bet it costs a lot more. Different machines for different applications
Vegan leather 😂😂😂😂
For some reason kubota dont seem to like putting led lights on there smaller machines ! They should be standard in this day and age !
Prise
