San Marcos, TX / P.Cortez: This was such an encouraging discussion that really helped put some of MY OWN battles into perspective and shed light on what were once questionable experiences. Ty again for being faithful disciples of Jesus, dedicated to His purpose! Glory to the Lamb! God bless!
Been battling anxiety for a number of years, 6 to be exact. And similar to Brandin I’ve had ups and downs throughout those years, and I can say he is spot on about anxiety, the intrusive thoughts, the hopelessness we can feel sometimes everything was spot on. I’m so glad this topic was brought up in the Christian community, we need MORE content like this and this needs to be talked about more in churches. This podcast has opened my understanding about my condition so much more. If Christ is glorified through this weakness, then so be it! He can have all the glory! There is hope in Jesus he’s got us!
So thankful for P. Harold and Mona's response and willingness to bring this topic to the light! If you're out there and this podcast resonated with you, please know that there's hope. You can experience true peace and joy in life like never before! Jesus loves you!!!
We know a couple that had a son that had to use medication not sure for what, but it was Something to do with his brain (I know that he abused drugs before coming to the Lord). Anyways he struggled with taking the prescribed medication on and off. Story short he went to his younger brother's house and was threatening him n his family. Unfortunately the brother was trying to give a warning shot and the bullet ricochet from the front door knob and killed his brother. This young man was on fire for Jesus when we met him. He just didn't know how to get help. My husband and I lost our eldest son to cancer. I know this is so different than their situation, but we were able n still try to be there for this family. Thank you so much for helping others understand this topic. Be blessed everyone. Pastor Warner I'm in a wheelchair as well. We've met before (well we've passed pathes in conferences and when he's preached around our area) and just as ppl tell me I insire them your testimony inspires me. Keep doing what your doing and God bless your wife as well. Wife's aren't seen much when pastor's are doing God's will, but they are doing lots behind the curtains and closed doors....
Most Christians in church behave differently in front of their pastors and leadership........not wanting to appear not spiritual and not having it altogether. There are clicks, bullying, gossipping, Personally, I would keep my eyes open for the loners. I would spend lots of time with those. I would look for those who stopped attending church. Several times I got folks together to help me look for those missing church. I often invited the loners to meals. I would do very little talking. Found out too many have been injured in church. I was one of the injured. Larry and Joann Reed were my mentors that helped me get past the bullying......in Jesus name.
Praise God for this. I finally feel like someone understands. I have adhd and I'm dyslexic. I use a lot of techniques to function. I been saved for 19 years. But sometimes, like right now, it get taken out of context when I have a reaction. I been called difficult or looked down on. I'm 41 years old and I still get reduced to tears when people push me away cause the people at church don't understand. I thank God for peace and reassurance from some people including my husband that I'm good. I used to have someone to talk to but He left. Thank you for these words that make me feel like I'm worth it and I'm not crazy. It does sometimes brings loneliness or depression and even suicidal thoughts bit Jesus gives me the victory.
Thanks for sharing your heart with us. I know it can be difficult to live with these challenges. You're not crazy at all, your just brilliant! God loves you and can bring you complete freedom in your life!
Thanks for sharing your experience and testimony Brandin. This is a Biblical soul fixing therapy.Very rich, insightful and beneficial. Mental and emotional fragility and vulnerability needs to be addressed more in the church because so many christians are silently struggling with these issues. There is so much pressure that comes with living these days, denting the faith of so many and causing a lot of mental and emotional disorders among Christians.Psychologists and psychiatrists can contribute to the healing process, but preachers has the ultimate role to speak more often on these issues coz ONLY JESUS can bring about TOTAL FREEDOM. Medications can't save or heal a soul, only Jesus CAN do that.
I can relate Brandin.. Sometimes when I can't find anyone to talk with, the sermons help me. I read my bible and pray and it help. Jeremiah 29:11 guide my life and I am chosen not forsaken. I am who God says I am.
You'd be surprised how many people all over the world face similar situations in the church. One of the best advices I can give is to mix with your reading of the bible, simple things like getting outside, laughing with friends, exercise, etc. God made us spirit, soul and body and it's a balance that helps us overcome.

Thank you for this wonderful vlog, means so much, blessings.
This is so good. Thanks for talking about this subject. God bless you all
I wash my hands obsessively haha. I think about things neurotically.. I've had to pray my way of some of those repetitive thoughts.
