@@yezzzsir Yes! This ESSENTIAL protip got me to look frame-by-frame at 0:44 and 0:47... it shows the severity of Tanya having to recover her weapon in MERE FRAMES!
Those few, precious frame where Tanya drops her gun, that we can appreciate because of this. The incredible amount of detail and effort; what is literally a life-threatening moment as she almost loses her weapon, is also just as critical and important in frame-by-frame animation. It's thing like this that gives us more insight and appreciation!
This is so helpful Dong. You've given us a real experience on how the process of animation works... This is so special and enough to teach we the curious ones..... Keep posting and we'll endeavor to learn as much as we can👍👍👍👍👍
thats insane the big changes we can see between each stage, is awsome! and this video clarify what is going on on all stages, this is soo cool, thanks!
Pretty sure it's done simultaneously. The directors and artists probably have enough experience that they know how the camera is gonna move and they just split the work and combine it at the end. In any case the camera movement can always be tweaked to fit the scene properly.
This was really interesting to watch, but, according to me, the background is a little bit to real to perfectely match with the animation. Traditional hand painting background would have be better.
Protip: Use the . and , keys to go forward or backward frame by frame.
I never knew you could do that! So handy though it's interesting to see how much the timing changes along the shot.

Can you do a tutorial on how a shot like this is blocked out? Is the 3D camera move created first, and then character layout, etc...?
