- Turn your android tv box into an hotspot by following these step. The step are not complicated and very easy I must say. I don't know if every box is capable but in this case I'm using the Wechip V5 and connected directly to my router. This is another way to make the box yours.

What box are using in this video? What box are you currently using/recommend? The Nvidia (i think that’s what it’s called.) I also looked into the gbox.

When other devices connect to the Ethernet/Hotspot they cause my IPTV running on the box to freeze up or buffer. Would it run better if I spend the 200 bucks for a decent router and reset the connection as WiFi instead of Hotspot? I always avoided a router in favor of a direct Ethernet input to the box so I could keep the speed of direct Ethernet - which in my case is 25 mpbs
correct me if I'm wrong but i'm pretty sure its not possible to use both WiFi and hotspot at the same time on one device.If you connect the box with a network cable you can use the hotspot.

Hello, can you create a hotspot without having the Ethernet cable connected?
Let's say I just want to connect the TvBox with the remote to transfer files.
Where if you do not have no Internet service with anybody can you still use the hotspot box

The only downside to this is you can only use it if an ethernet cable is attached your WIFI is disabled when you turn on hotspot.
