- In a conference first, APRA AMCOS Focus On The Living End. One of Australia’s most revered and long-running bands, The Living End have become part of the Australian rock firmament across their storied 20-year career. The three-piece’s third EP, the double A-side ‘Second Solution’/’Prisoner of Society’ was the highest-selling Australian single of the ’90s, and they’ve since released six albums, been nominated for 27 ARIAs and won six. The band have also established themselves as a premier live act of international renown, while continuing to be a huge draw at home: in late 2012 they smashed the house record at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne with eleven consecutive sold-out shows.
The band will press pause on their first run of headline shows in two years to share an in-depth look at their career. All three band members - Chris Cheney, Scott Owen and Andy Strachan - will discuss the stories behind their songs, their songwriting process, the highs and lows, and what the future holds as they begin work on their seventh album. TLE will be joined on stage by their highly-respected, long-standing manager Rae Harvey. Session moderated by Graham Ashton
