- Taking your first trip with kids in tow? Need something teeny and lightweight for your trunk and quick trips to the store? Whatever your reason for wanting something small, you're in luck, because 2018 is basically the renaissance of the travel stroller.
In this video, Eli shows you some of our very favorite mini tri-fold strollers! We aren't going over traditional umbrella strollers in this one, but shout out to the Maclaren Quest and the UPPAbaby G-Luxe in that category.

My Babyzen has been definitely a life saver while on holidays, super light and compact. Also little one super comfortable on it, from newborn to toddler:)
The Minu is awesome. Its literally the only stroller my son hasnt spazzed out in.
Big thumbs up for the joie pact, which also fits car seat for travelling with the adaptors and flying internationally I can take it in the plane.
Would love to see a full review of the Silver Cross Jet!!!
ua-cam.com/video/LtuGwvPhsbs/v-deo.html
Definitely should have included the GB Qbit Plus, or Pockit ! Would have loved to see the plus next to the zen. Great comparison video as always!
D J I have a Pockit for my toddler, I have it for almost 2 years now (my son was 2 when we used it for the first time) and I love it! We travel a lot, and it’s been my life saver in airport, especially when some agents at the check-in or when boarding the plane we’re asking me to check the stroller! Every time I fold the stroller in front of them, they are all blown away because it is super compact (more than all the ones on this video) not to mention it is super lightweight!!! Which is super handy because sometimes I have to take the plane by myself with a toddler in tow. It also fit in a carry-on suitcase. The big cons are:
- it’s super light so you can’t hang much on it (diaper bag, purse... chances are that your bag is heavier than the stroller can stand lol)
- it’s not made for bumpy road, again that’s the cons for having a super light stroller
- not much of storage under the seat
- the price! But for all the time I have used it in airport, or to places where you have to leave your stroller away from you, it was worth it!
Hi, I know you spoke about the Babyzen and the Silver Cross in this video, but can you please do an in depth comparison between the two. Trying to decide on which one to get before August the 20 ;)
Send us an email! We can compare them more in depth with you - questions@mbeans.com.
Do you need it by August 20th? The Jet is currently backordered, so you'll likely receive it after the 20th.
Did you have a detailed review between the two? I would love to receive that as well!
Hi, can't see anything on the video. Is the purpose to see the presenter or the stroller? It would be great if the view is more focused on the stroller.
Can you do a comparison between the babyzen yoyo and the GB Pockit+ ?
They seem very similar but the pocket is half the price. Can they recline the same amount? How do the dimensions compare when they are fully closed? Are the canopies pretty comprable? What would it be like taking either of them over cobblestones?
Perfect timing for this video! We will be traveling in September and had no idea what to get! Thanks for the awesome video ❤️
Perfect! Let us know if you need some help choosing
Magic Beans Videos Thank you! What are your thoughts on the Mountain Buggy Nano stroller? Is it worth it?
If you have a beberoad R2 stroller, you will know that all of those compact strollers are not competitive anymore!
What’s that?
Eli
I have noticed on a few videos that when you get to Silver Cross in comparisons you skim over them quickly like this one you mentioned newborn on all others but the jet
Similar on the double pram video you gave silver cross about 30% of the time and 70% to whatever the other one was.
The Jet was newborn approved after it was initially released, but yes, you can use it from birth.
Can you do a best travel double stroller
Show me a good compact stroller that don't cost almost 300$ this is a joke right not all parents are rich some have a tight budget when I mean tight is really tight
@Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever he is not even 1 so I need one I have back problems and can't carry up and down a stroller that weights 15 pounds i live in NYC so i need a lightweight compact stroller but also good for the bumpy roads and not so good train stations
Joie Pact lite is one 5kg only. :)
@@ashley734455 Chicco Ohlala is the best! Weights only 3.8 kg, stands alone when folded, really good quality beautiful stroller, fully reclining and costs about 65£
Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever what?!!! You know these strollers are made for kids till they see like 4 right ?
@@ashley734455 what did you end up purchasing? I live in nyc too with the same issues 😔
curious about the seat width of the yoyo vs jet.... yoyo folds to 17'' but seat pad is 13' based on other reviews i saw? Jet lists the folded width at 12'' which already seems tiny but i cant imagine the seat is any smaller would seem to lose functionality. any info on seat width and depth on the jet?
Jet Seat Dimensions
Width : 13 Inches
Backrest Height : 17 Inches
Seat Pad Length : 7.5 Inches
Calf Support Length : 5.5 Inches
Hi! I really loved this channel! I was wondering about the ergobaby 180 stroller does fit in this category? I really like the yoyo+ but i think its a little bit expensive. Im from Chile so i have the chance to check a lot of strollers in stores but the ergobaby has not arrive yet, i would love your comments and advice about it compared with the yoyo+. Thanks so much! Ill be waiting for your answer!
Which one would be best if used as primary stroller for suburban life?
First and foremost thank you for these videos. We were told by our local baby store babyzen yoyo is better quality in comparison to the silver cross jet . Do you find the quality is that different
Thanks so much Alberto. You're very welcome. I totally agree, the Yoyo is much better quality than the Jet. I love the Yoyo.
If you're looking to buy one, you can buy one from us here

Hello! Thank you for your videos- they are very informative. Would you please do a review on the Maxi-Cosi Lara?
Maria Maldonado searching for one as well
I’ve been searching for a review on the Maxi Cosi Lara as well.
Please can you suggest any light weight stroller for the winter with a good foot muff...thanks
Hi do you have any suggestion for baby 15 months weight 15 lbs with cp that need to travel a lot to seek doctors? Baby couldn't sit properly, more like a new born baby.
Hi i have watched a few of you videos and really insightful your reviews, am travelling with my 6 months old frm uk to canada soon and need a light weight stroller as the stokke we use now is heavy. Any suggestions?
With the exception of the Mios (it doesn't fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane) any of these options would be great for you
Satsified
thats all?
there are few more better options than yoyo.
gb pockit+
mountain buggy nano
contour bliss
cosatto woosh
cybex eezy s twist
kuki by baby monster
baby jogger tour lux
This is amazing
When will the best of travel & mini strollers 2019 video be released?
Very soon!
Love your videos!! They are really helpful... I’m looking for a travel stroller, my baby is 6 months and I don’t know which one is the best, I’m between YOYO +, MINU and silver cross... which one is the best??!
Hey Maria! All are great choices. Send us an email at questions@mbeans.com and we can help you decide which is perfect for your travels.
What about the cybex s-twist? Isn’t this one more in the mini category than the mios? I am eager to see how that compares to the yoyo.
What about the britax holiday? I can’t find many reviews online. Thanks!
what is for bigger kids?
Hi! We are looking for an affordable travel stroller under $300 preferably since we already have a travel system and just want a lightweight affordable stroller for flying long haul. Important to have excellent sunshade cover (we live in Singapore) and be cool (do any have a mesh backing or something?), lightweight, easily folded preferably by one hand and recline way back for naps. Thanks!
Does anyone feel that when it is folded the handle is too short for a guy? My husband keeps complaining that he feels back pain when pulling this short stroller when folded. He is 178cm.
Hi! I was wondering if you have seen the Maxi Cosi Lara and how you think it compares to these. Thanks!
This is what I’ve been researching too. It’s between the Maxi Cosi Lara and the Babyzen Yoyo. Wish there was a review about it. Can’t find one anywhere. Was hoping to find one from magic beans
Kristen Lizarraga so while I can’t review or compare, I will share that I got the Maxi Cosi and I really liked it. We took it to the beach, rode really well around the pool and other walkways, didn’t push in the sand. Didn’t try to put it overhead but held up well in the bag when checked. Super light and easy to fold and push.
Maxi vision outlet is awesome is they just put a tiny bit more flair into the art of their stroller they would sell like mad in reliable pushchair!
Babyzen is so overpriced and has no footrest .. there are dozens of compact strollers , better then yoyo that weigh 6kg and have everything included - at least in Europe . Where is KEKK by KEES PLUS ? Easywalker ? Squeeze by Looping ? KEKK Xinn ? Eurocart spin ? Kinderkraft Pilot ? I am surprised that people heard only about babyzen....
Hey Ewelina - most of those models aren't available in the US, so we aren't able to carry them or review them. We're huge fans of the Yoyo, though.
Because of your comment, I bought an easywalker. Thank You !
After tons of surveying the list that you gave, I found that easywalker are much better than babyzen 😂 I almost buy babyzen already.
Maydy Suominen I am happy mu comment helped ! I almost bought yoyo as well 😂. And then I saw EASYWALKER in the shop and I was gone for good . We have the beautiful Monaco Apero Easywalker XS ❤️❤️❤️, serves as really well !!!
Because of your comment, I bought a Eurocart Spin, thank you for showing other possibilities that we may never know here in the US.
for some reason its one of the few that have a strap, which is sort of important if youre travelling with baby alone and have to carry the baby and stuff by yourself. Having to hold a stroller too could be an issue, better to just throw it on your shoulder
Which stroller has got a more upright sitting position: yoyo or silver cross jet?
I travel with the baby to Cuba every few months. The two things I need are wheels that take the often unpaved roads and a one hand fold as I'm usually traveling solo w baby. Suggestions? Right now I'm using the chicco vario (sp?) Which is okay, but I'm not in love. Anything else better out there?
Hey Carla - How old is your little one?
Magic Beans Videos - Hi! Baby is 10 months (about 21 lbs)
In our experience, the Yoyo will take unpaved roads well, but it doesn't have a one-handed fold. Of the strollers in this video with a one-handed fold, the Minu has the largest wheels which might help on those roads. That might be your best bet!
Magic Beans Videos Thank you!!! I'm gonna try and get down to a stroller spa to check those out.
I dont understand all the people saying this. Just flip the handlebars down first then you can take baby out and fold the rest with one hand.
Great video what is the best stroller for a tall 3 years old toddler please
Fearn and Tucker’s Angel Forever dude, you are in EVERY f*cking comment being a rude little sh*t. Get a life and learn manners.
Oh, you forgot Eezy S Twist from Cybec!!!! Then, you'll be fair 😊😊
I didn’t forget that stroller. Do you own one? Eli
@@MagicBeansVideos I have one and also have a Yoyo.
Can you compare the Babyzen Yoyo, Uppababy Minu and the Mima Zigi Travel Stroller?
Can you take a look at the Maxi Cosi Lara? That seems like a good compact stroller
I'm also looking for reviews on the Lara!! bonus if it can be compared to the MB nano!!
Is it weird if you buy a travel stroller as your main stroller?
Lauren Fry ours was our main and only stroller until it was broken in an airplane. We used ours for a year.
Not necessarily - some families just really need a small and lightweight option. However we would only recommend this if you're only going over paved and smooth surfaces during your day-to-day activities. Otherwise we'd suggest a full-size stroller.
@magicbeans can you make an updated version for 2020
Can I buy these from you for less than MAP? I don't pay retail prices on anything I buy
I need your help I’m trying to get a travel stroller for my 8 month baby he is nearly 13 KG and also very tall because of his father and I, I have the bugaboo chameleon but is really heavy and it’s not for travelling. I have been looking everywhere but this is the answer I get, Every travels troller is 15 KG 17 kg You’re going to end up losing your money.
Hey there - the Minu is a great travel stroller and holds children up to 50lbs
What would you choose for your family with one child for european travel (cobblestone)?
Yoyo :)
Why haven’t you included the cybex eezy twist? And can you do a comparison between it and the yoyo stroller ?
Thanx
I’m not a fan on the eezSTwist.
But folks are asking for the review.
Eli
Hasuu cyber are a joke the Priam which I have sitting more or less new are over priced look pretty have big claims but at end of day just a 2 wheel option that’s too hard to do in a busy compact place. Yes the it is lively but takes up way too much room!! I have a for kuga st uk and it’s a nightmare and there’s no fluidity in the movements. They sell £599 second hand no matter the condition is reasonably ok I paid £1400 for princess pink Tavel system the cybex platinum cloud Q broke still to this day they will not acknowledge the danger they put my daughter in or that out of god faith reall should have refunded the set so it lies there collecting dust the Bali is is a smaller more practical version and then the mios or easy twist which I thought was amazing but how many thing do you need 360 for high chairs yes carsest yes a paper weight buugy no!’ Be careful with the cloud believe me and if you try to carry more than a
Newborn in it yiu need to be a body builder that’s why the cut the Z but it’s very little
Difference you take that in and out of a care enough you will learn new swear words!!
Do any of these recline? I am traveling with my (then) 6 month old to Amsterdam and Paris. We have a Citi Mini, but think something that reclines (for naps) and folds up more like the Maclaren Quest would be better. I am looking at Summer Infant 3D lite and the Quest, but the 3D lite doesnt have a great sun shade and the Quest is $$$. We will do a lot of travel with child, so may be willing to invest. I hear Paris is particularly challenging with baby and strollers.. any insights?
Hey Mira - all of these models recline. We'd suggest going with the Maclaren Quest. When you get home from your trip you'll find yourself using it a LOT for quick trips to the store, etc. You'll definitely get your money's worth, especially given your child's age.
Thank you so much for the reply! Quick follow up. We already have a citi mini, but in your opinion is that much bigger than the Quest? The Quest is large investment since we already have the citi mini. Do you feel the Citi Mini is not appropriate for travel in Europe?
The City Mini should work just fine for your travels! As long as you safely check the stroller in a good travel bag to avoid damage.
Where does the qbit plus for in? Is it comparable to the Minu?
Does the buggy board work with cosatto woosh
What is the weight capacity on the silver cross jet
40lbs
Damn my son is 33 lbs
I love the babyzen but it's way too expensive for a secondary stroller. I wish the uppa baby didn't have dead flesh on the handles. I've seen people having issues with the angle of the seat on the diono. The cybex is nice but I don't think it's available in Canada, seems similar to the baby jogger tour lux. I'm probably going with the mountain buggy nano, which in my opinion is the original 😊
The Choice of Motherhood check out EASYWALKER XS , kinderkraft Pilot , Squeeze by Looping , KEKK by Kees - the best compact strollers ever . All at 6kg and with a footrest (!!!)
Hi! I'm a firts time mom and I'm looking for a pram that I can use in every occasion. I know the yoyo is great for traveling but would you recommend it as a main pram? I don't want to have more than 1 stroller, my house is not that big. thanks!
As long as you aren't going through rough terrain or snow, the Yoyo could be a great primary stroller.
great! thank you very much for the quick response!
Well, but it doesn't recline flat, which is necessary for a newborn (up to 6 months old).
@Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever I think that it is what is recommended in general. At least to keep a newborn baby for longer periods..
@Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever I don't think this is true. It is a very well known fact (with real life evidences and with simple logic) is that rear facing is better as long and possible. I am writing it as I don't want people to be misinformed.
I wish you open a store in Northern Virginia!
Wc is best for a three year old?
We'd recommend an umbrella stroller for that age, like the Maclaren Quest or UPPAbaby G-Luxe.
Traveling everyday on a bus with a bulky a stroller is not good for me and i cannot afford these strollers.
Bella X0 try the Safety 1st cube compact stroller. $184 CAD but truly a great travel stroller. Fits in overhead compartment etc
Why isn't Looping Squizz 2 included?
Hi I'm new, love your video, so helpful,I'm from Indonesia, now can you please review best travel twin stroller 2018,thank you
Can you please do a review of Mima Zigi? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sadly, we don’t sell Mima products so I dont have access to it - seems like a nice stroller, expensive but nice
Eli
Hey man, would you recommend the yoyo+ over the maclaren quest or gluxe ? We are travelling to new york next month. Let me know whick one is better regardless of the price
Hey Joe. How old is your baby?
Magic Beans Videos 14 months now she’s tall
I'd go for the Yoyo. The wheels will take city streets better and you're going to use it all the time when you get home.
Eli! Which jogging stroller should I get? Our regular stroller is an uppaBaby vista and we have a Mesa car seat. Baby is now 4.5mo old and petite, not sure that will change at 6mo.
Gemmer Snappie bob has nice ones . Love mines pushes so smooth
Gemmer Snappie baby has to be 6 months to use any jogging stroller
IM DEBATING BETWEEN THE MINU AND NUNA TAVO
You should have added the Looping Squizz 2
\
Hey! Just saw this for the first time online. Just visually it looks kinda flimsy - am I wrong? Most strollers in this category are. I'm not a flimsy stroller fan. Eli
More than a gold price
The Babyzen is NOT the"origina;". The Mountain Buggy Nano was the original. The Nano was the first super mini stroller that fits into the aircraft upper bin.
Can you review the cosatto woosh xl?
I'm not sure what that is.
Sorry
Eli
I don’t see a reason to get an umbrella stroller vs one of these? Other than price. What is the reason for umbrella?
Price is definitely a big factor in choosing an umbrella over these models. But also an umbrella is more suited for older kids that may only get a year or two out of the stroller. These models are at a higher price point but can accommodate children from a younger age.
Thanks so much!
Hi, could you do a review of Nuna pepp next strollers?
I'm needing a lightweight and one hand fold stroller as I carry my babe and stroller down 3 flights of stairs daily. We live in the city so its all paved but we do get on and off curbs quite a bit. Shes almost a year old. I've been looking at the city mini for the easy fold but would you have any other suggestions?
The City Mini would be great for you - we'd recommend the GT for its higher quality wheels. The fold is awesome. If you want something a bit lighter though, check out the Minu.
What do you feel is a better travel stroller for my 7month yr old; the Babyzen yo yo + or the City jogger tour? Priorities are foldable to fit in overhead compartment of the airplane, comfortable so they can sleep in it and good sun protection as we will be travelling to Europe in the summer
Go for the Yoyo
What is the best cheap umbrella stroller? I planned to get a Babyzen Yoyo for a trip to Europe but I can't afford it. Which of the cheap ones would you consider the best? Anyone who has an opinion is free to comment. Thanks!
Hi Natanya! Around what is your budget?
easywalker buggy
cosatto supa 2018
mclaren xt
GB pockit+ $200
Mountain buggy nano $200
Zoe xlc $200
All weigh under 15lbs
Magic Beans Videos .Hello I loved the stroller video babyzen yoyo light green with white chassis ... consult ... vary the shades of green according to the versions of each year ?. since I saw in images in the Google dark olive green and I do not like it ... please help me to be able to choose and place the order ... thanks
Does the Uppababy Minutes have a handle that extends like the Mesa? Do any of these strollers have handles that extend?
I think that instead of the Cybex Mios you should have put the Cybex eezy in this video.
Really interested in a comparison video for the Uppababy Vista vs the iCandy Orange. Haven't seen anything decent anywhere and really trust your reviews. Thanks
Hey there - iCandy isn't available in the US, so we aren't able to carry it or review it!
Magic Beans Videos Ah that sucks. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
How much is the babyzen YOYO ???
The Yoyo+ retails for $499
How about the Cybex Eezy S+? How small does it fold?
Can you make a comparison between cybex miox, joolz hub & uppababy cruz
Babyzen has my heart too 😍
white / peppermint .. is the only shade in the green range yoyo?
Hi can you make a video review for babyzen yoyo + vs looping squizz?
What about the gb pockit stroller?
Baby Jogger??
Zuri Lozano I was wondering that too since the cybex is almost the same as the tour lux
I like the Cybex Mios a lot, and Baby Jogger City Tour is fine - just didn’t make my round up. -Eli
The Choice of Motherhood I know the city tour lux is awesome
I feel like a women should be doing this stroller review.
