1.) “And if you want to use me I could be your puppet” is a lyric that fits so perfectly it’s actually scary… y’know, because Zemo used the trigger words and Bucky went all bad again.
2.) Aftpter the chorus’s second repeat, which has a more calm beat than the rest of the song, the fight scene continues with the “be-cause I’m the de-vil who’s sear-ching for re-demp-tion” section with the beat getting heavier; so both aspects add to a kind of tension.
3.) I LOVE the way that several times the motion of a gun being fired/ backfiring is timed to a beat and/ or when the singer raises the pitch or tone of his voice to the end of a lyric. This is such a masterpiece!
4.) I started shipping-ish these guys because of the ✨c h e m i s t r y✨ and as a joke… but it’s no longer a simple joke.
