Cub Cadet LTX 1045 Kohler Courage Head Removal & Repair

Now that we’ve figured out what’s causing this Cub Cadet LTX 1045 to run so poorly, it’s time to remove and repair the head of its Kohler Courage engine. We’ll unbox the impressively extensive kits from OPE Engines (a cylinder head gasket kit and a cylinder head hardware kit - links below!) that we’re going to use to rebuild this head, after we get the guides properly seated according to the specifications from the service manual and gently peen the head around them to prevent shifting.
