Unfortunately the MiddleMouseButton click menu don't have tha same functionality like in Windows. In Windows after pressing the MMB and selecting a tool OR just pressing LMB in the wiewport, the popup disapears, in MAC version unfortunately not which is a quite big issue for me personally.
See if the 7.11 service release is better for you. You may be describing the same thing discussed here discourse.mcneel.com/t/toggleactivetoolpalettes-in-rhino-7-compared-to-rhino-6-5/128016/23
It was a different design specifically to be 'Mac like' but opinions vary on the topic with some users preferring the Windows UI. I see pros and cons to both.
I can for the life of me not find the toolbar options as shown in many tutorials on windows. Where does it hide on mac? I cannot edit toolbars in the preferences tool palette window.. any suggestions?
In Rhino 7 for Mac, use the Commands section of Preferences to make a custom set up by duplicating the default command set, which encompasses the tool palettes, and then modifying that.
The Grasshopper (GH) section of Rhino is the method I use for non-destructive modeling. Rhino itself probably won't ever have a feature tree though, there are many NURBS modelers like that if you need that type of workflow.

Why is it that the Mac version is so much neater and intuitive than the Windows version? smh

I swear to got I tried shift and command right click and nothing happened. haha you unlocked it for me so thank you.
The top tool bar icons are too small. How do you increase them and the other UI assets ??
Hi CD, Use the Preferences command in Rhino 7 for Mac and you can change the icon sizes in the Tool Palette section with a slider.
@@RhinoGuide thank you

Do you think Rhino will always be a destructive modelling workflow?
