The truth is that the only reason Neil was able to land a woman like Ingrid is because of the path he walked and the successes he had with women over a period of many years, and how that path transformed himself as a man. A confident, outwardly high value man that a high value woman like her would even consider dating. I get a little upset that in all these interviews he's doing now, he doesn't highlight that pretty obvious fact. It seems like he's trying to erase his past by belittling it. He's not owning his life experiences and what got him to where he is.

The thing is this guy used to be one of the best pick-up artists back in the days. Which means he's an excellent actor. So it's hard to tell whether or not he's STILL playing the game on this TV show. He could simply be "playing the blue pilled AFC" for certain good reasons (to exploit a new "relationships coaching" venture, or just clean up his PR reputation so that people see him as a reformed good guy now etc...)

A lot of people seem upset with Neil and think he is a wuss now. I don't think they truly understood The Game or read the truth. Neil had a profound spiritual growth and grew out of the nonsense that so many people get sucked into when they get into the so called game. The Game teaches people how to act alpha and how to act like a man but not on how to truly become one. Neil it seems is the only one who figured that out and went through the grueling process that comes with growing as a person. Good for him.

In pickup, the most fundamental rule is that nothing is ever a big deal, rejections aren't a big deal, losing a girl is not a big deal and not getting any one specific girl isn't a big deal. What is a big deal is building the skillset and becoming alpha and I feel like the reason most pickup artists don't ever find a girl of their dreams is because they don't necessarily believe in one and are just constantly moving from one girl to the next as if it was practice for there social calibration. Neil is one of the few pickup artists who have mastered the game and the art and so there is no need for any more practice, he has chosen to stick to one person because he truly has found someone he wants to be with and are willing to risk everything to not lose her.

Many comments here below are just plain stupid. You guys act as if you'll remain young forever and ever, and that 'game' is all there is in life. Frozen minds, the lot of you. Life is in phases, and guys like Neil Strauss, Erik James Horvat-Marković and Eben Pagan have recognised this and chosen to evolve. Owen Cook, on the other hand, still talks like a teenager and still is obsessed with 'game'.
I think he has gone too far. All techniques for trying to connect with woman are not manipulation. And, look at how attractive the woman is he is with. He would not have gotten to be with her in the first place if he was only being unaware of human nature and how to approach someone, just being completely himself. He seems to be trying to get the total answer on things in both books, Making it look like a bible kind of indicates that. The truth is a balance between learning techniques of how to interact with people and playing games (in business this is unquestionable) as in all areas of life, and being yourself and genuine. It is a very challenging balance and any help on either end of the spectrum is huge! The main thing is that he has contributed a lot to the whole subject that is the source of much pain for many people.

Neil Strauss is the stereotypical Gamma male who for a small period of time came in contract with the PUA scene, learnt the ways with women, dated quite a number of women and married a woman whole levels above him, which he cheated with her friend, which was actually the best thing to do since he would had anyway lost her in time as he was seriously mismatched with her all while his "one-hit-book-wonder" was evaporating..... and then he turned back to his old Gamma male style.
Compare this Neil Strauss to the Neil Strauss that had charmed Jessica Alba during their common tv show appearance and ponder over it. Mystery, his PUA teacher, gave him the opportunity, Neil wasted it.

His stunt with Mystery's group was a real one, he did enter there, he was taught by Mystery and while some of the his "feats" maybe overblown, he did develop his attraction skills enough to land with a wife that though no 9/10 she was still attractive and quite above his level, at least in physical aspects. All this was not a lie. However Strauss told a number of lies and distortions about the PUA scene as well as the ensuiing Red Pill community. Eventually his true Gamma male personality caught up with him and he could not maintain his frame. Which also ended up in his wife getting distanced, him needing to cheat on her (possibly she had already cheated) and then separating. He is a very mixed bag guy.
