Here it is,
I can't believe I vidded them again.
There's something about their relationship that really gets to me, I quite can't put my fingers on it. I tried to show it best as I could.
I like my other video of them better, but still ... I'm glad I used some scenes I hadn't managed to use last time (had to sacrifice some others, oh well). It's a bit less angsty, too.
Vidding them comes so easily to me, I don't even have to think where to put clips because I feel like the video develops so naturally along the way ..? That's the feeling I get, anyway.
I'm sad we didn't get much in s8 (not that I was expecting anything anyway), but still. They wrapped up things nicely with that letter.

let's make it clear, no fucking one deserves Bonnie, _but_ ... there's no other dynamic in the show i'd love to see than the one these two have.

Love this, Damon and Bonnie has one of the best relationships developments in this whole show (from hate, friend-enemy to best friends who love each other).
I agree, I was also sad and very disappointed that they didn't get that many scenes or a bigger storyline in series 8 such as Bonnie getting though to him (by having a bigger infulance on him) and her fighting for him. At least in the last couple of episodes they have had really great scenes together in (8x10) and (8x14) "hopefully we get more in the last 2 episodes left".
I really liked the parallels you used in your video, it really shows their relationship over the series.
That letter Damon wrote to Bonnie was beautiful, loved what he wrote in it and that he remembered every single word of it throughout the years (made me happy that the show addressed it).
Also happy to see you use 8x14 scenes with them which was awesome and lovely moments/scenes they had.

This is beautiful. I'm not much of a Damon fan but there's just something about his dynamic with Bonnie that is so compelling. Part of it is the chemistry between Kat and Ian, but Damon's also just different with Bonnie. Maybe because she doesn't make excuses for him/holds him accountable, idk...But I dig it and you captured them perfectly.
10fireflym totally agree with you! never was a damon fan, my annoyance with him reached such passionate heights i s2g. but .. s6 forward he is bearable? not just with bonnie, but in general? maybe all i neeeed was a compelling dynamic such as the one he has with bonnie to make me like him a bit more. bonnie bennet really is magic.

I'm so happy I'm finally caught up on this show so that I can actually FULLY enjoy your TVD edits especially for these two because honestly, their relationship (I see it as friendship personally but ofc I know they are shipped romantically widely in the fandom) is one of the best things to have come out of this show. The slow steady journey that has been their friendship has been amazing and getting stuck alone in the prison world literally forced them to work together not just trying to escape but also trying not to let it get to them (and each other) and that steadiness they brought to each other just laid the foundation for their friendship.
The editing in this, god, do you ever do anything subpar tbh? I love how you showed the kind of unhealthy way of dealing with things they have because of course we know that already about Damon but Bonnie also goes to extremes for the people she loves and when they're both together, it's always a question who will give in first (which you showed with both the prison world and when Damon was being dragged to hell by Cade). The way you had the voiceover of Damon reading the letter throughout the video and tying it to the clips you used was also so clever and interesting and really gave this video a tangible storyline!
I just love how I can feel how much you care for their relationship when i watch your videos because you understand the bad aspects of it as well as the wonderful, amazing parts of it!

though I was disappointed with season 8 and how it turned out bamon-wise, I am really great full that we found out what was in the letter. maybe it's not what I was expecting but I understand why Damon said what he said and just the fact the he recited it fucked me up lol. they will forever be my otp, I could talk about them for days. the story that they have had is so unique. my only wish now is that they dance at sterolines wedding, I mean they have to right?
