- Today in Bookshelf I would like to present the beginning of the new series.
Plastic Invasion collaborates with with Paralight Worx to create new magazine which is focused on historical reenactment and scale modeling.
SCALE IT! is to represent the chosen real-life subject in scale using reenactment, studio photographs, historical texts and very detailed step-by-step tutorials.
This issue we follow the main character of the series Dusty Faces Otto Degen, to Poland in the summer of 1944, where we catch him and his fellow soldiers conducting anti-partisan operations.
The German field grey wool uniform is fully presented on the pages of the magazine.

Definitely good stuff. Book looks interseting and with lot of content, the figure is really well done. However, I spotted one mistake. It was very unlikely for the Unteroffizier armed with MP to carry a bayonett attached to the entrenchng tool. They used special close combat knives (Grabendolch aka Nachkampfmesser) for such purposes. Still I'd like to have this figure one day.
