YES!!!!! Damn, I've missed these dudes! So happy they found a home. The Football after show was the best television period. - Because of the hilarity between Briggs and Brown. Can't believe that show is gone, but thrilled for this new version. I won't miss an episode.
I absolutely LOVED that show and I'm heartbroken! I looked forward to it just as much as the Bears game in and of itself; the vibe, energy and chemistry was perfect. I really miss the show and nothing B & B will do will come close to it. The show was so predictably organized and sequenced, which was a good thing; the viewers knew what they were getting. However, that soft host with the long nose was the weak link because she had thin skin and was like a female reporter in the men's locker room. I wish Kap was the host.
@@jhampful I miss the "which side won" segment NGL Aye did you see how Briggs face shined up after telling AB that if the QB ain't put it together etc etc talking about Richardson lol he threw that back at AB cause that's how he talked down on JF
What Lance Briggs had was an array of playmaking stats all over the field. Of nine HOF or HOF-level outside linebackers (the past six inductees plus Briggs, James Harrison and Terrell Suggs), Lance was dominant in a number of other areas: TACKLES PER GAME Brooks: 5.8 Briggs: 5.5 Jackson: 5.2 all others under 5 INTERCEPTIONS Brooks: 25 Briggs: 16 all others under 10 INTERCEPTION + FUMBLE RETURN YARDS Brooks 534 Briggs: 288 all others under 200 YARDS PER TAKEAWAY RETURN Brooks: 18.4 Briggs: 12.5 Ware: 12.3 all others under 10 TOUCHDOWNS (in a game about scoring points, this one is huge) Brooks: 7 Briggs: 6 Doleman/Greene/Suggs/Suggs/Ware: 3
I love both of these guys as a guy whos been following this Bears since a year before they won the superbowl... AB and Briggs are among my favorites.. I loved how athletic AB was and ppl forget teams had to account for AB dropping in coverage.. And i remember a game where Tommie Harris damn near killed Garcia in Detroit...
Not only are these 2 bears legends, but holy shit they are phenomenal podcast hosts. The mix of professional analysis and smart-assery entertainment is unique. Well done yall.
OLBs who go to the Hall now are nearly exclusively pass rushers. Since the Class of 2000, the OLBs in Canton break down like this: 11 pass rushers 2 non-pass rushers - Derrick Brooks and Junior Seau (who also played inside) There is a bias against non-pass-rushing OLBs. We all know 55 could rush the passer! He just wasn't asked to. BEARS FANS: change the conversation. Talk about Briggs on Briggs's terms: takeaways, what he did with the ball in his hand, coverage, tackling, ferocity mixed with speed.
As for Olin, what Bears fans can do is point out the lack of centers in Canton. If you look at every position group and track the last five players from that position elected in the modern era, the farthest you go back to get to five is center, all the way to 1987. Again, only five modern-era centers are in Canton since the class of 1987. Six if you count Bruce Matthews, his second most played position. WANT TO HELP OLIN? Talk about Olin + Tom Nalen + Jeff Saturday + Matt Birk + Nick Mangold and on and on. This will help Jay Hilgenberg too.
Ngl i need to see Caleb connect on these deep passes, Justin even where he was in his development was more accurate than what im seeinf from our present QB.. I really want to see this
The Bears were absolutely terrible in short yardage situations last season, even with Fields at QB. Fields inflated the rushing stats, making it seem the Bears were a good running team, when they really weren't. Something's not right with the Bears blocking up front, and it's more than just personnel. They've been consistently poor dealing with defensive stunts and blitz pick up the past few years. If you listen to some of the offensive linemen's interviews, they seem really frustrated with the blocking plan/play calls. I was surprised the Bears replaced all the offensive coaching staff except the offensive line coach after last season. It's not like the offensive line performed so much better than any other offensive groups the past couple of seasons.
Damn briggs, one guy i wanted out that draft was aaron donald, just because of tommie harris and henry melton fitting that prototype. I'm still salty about that one haha
Defenses gonna keep bringin the "house", Our Int. O line is WEAK, and Caleb looks like a ripe cherry ready to pick! Said it from day 1, protection is PARAMOUNT for a rookie, don't matter how many "weapons" we have.
I have an idea for the team’s Success that will leave no room for the possibility of failure, because it embraces all fundamental failures and repurposes them as a part of their recipe for Team success. Get ahold of me, or have GM Poles |or maybe even a delegate thereof| get in touch with me. I’m not just a fan; I’m a fan that studies problems and learns how to turn weaknesses into strengths that’ll Win Games. Agape, brethren. Shalom.
Alex and every other goof ball that thought justin wasn't enough.Keep that same energy Because almost sixty percent of chicago Bears fan toad, the world caleb was not that guy.. He wasn't even that good his draft year
@@TrueBlueNyc first off are you a bears fan…. You seam like a Steelers fan? Caleb has played 2 nfl games against 2 top 5 defenses and he’s been asked to play in gun 80% of his snaps… Justin is in his 4th year and has basically the same numbers as Caleb. Caleb’s floor is literally current Justin. Now go wave your piss colored towel and leave our fanbase

The tangent on costco the reason I love these guys 😂

Love these guys! Absolutely telling the truth!
Love the show
Braggs getting the smoke LOL! Bear Down CHGO fam!
BR3, Brown Briggs Braggs
Alex and Lance need to invest in new microphones. Audio sounds bad. CHGO needs to give them blue yeti mics

Look what the cat drug in! Bragg's! Quick! Throw it back! 😂🤣
Amazing podcast, but can they please turn the Apple email notification sound off? It’s been on every single podcast.
If we can just have a competent o line we gonna go places.
Hold on now Alex and Lance their own show?!! Yes!!!!! (The young clown didn't mention Mcmichael)
Watch your mouth. We were talking about players that they played with.
Costco is the $300 store!!😂 EVERY time!!
You know, we've been the team that if our offense could just score 2, 2 touchdown a game, were playoff contenders.
let it fly AB they can't censor you here
Do not ban the 2 high safety, there are already plenty of rules that puts the defenses at an disadvantage.

i have decided in my many years that i dont like my qb in shotgut on 3rd and 1. like it even less when the o line is terrible
Damn briggs, one guy i wanted out that draft was aaron donald, just because of tommie harris and henry melton fitting that prototype. I'm still salty about that one haha
Bruh most of Justin Fields runs came from scrambling, he's so fast and athletic that he got away and picked up yards
Forgot to pay homage to Steve 'Mongo' McMichael 💐💙🧡

Panthers gotta shock somebody 🤷🏾♂️
Mel Kyper asking for the end of the two high safety is like the asshole who introduced Kudzu weeds and Asian Carp to the Midwest.
Caleb's accuracy is SUSPECT!! Gets flustered, can't throw! His "deep ball"( 20+ yds) sucks! Pissin DJ OFF!!! 😢

Lance was a great player but he’s an emotional analyst Justin sucks lance
Caleb is looking like a bust. Pittsburgh is giddy having jf1 as their qb

The bear's not winning more than three games this year
We’ll be by win 4 in a few weeks .
