Shoutout to Fallon's crew for setting this up. I love seeing authors get their flowers. And also as a cover designer I love seeing the positive reaction to a cover - they go unnoticed too often and I think the design on this one had a huge impact on the book's "curb appeal" while being relevant to the story (Grace Han is the designer's name btw! Her and her team at Riverhead have given lit-fic and books of this nature a visual identity that let's you almost immediately recognize a great book).
If you've never read a Liz Moore book do yourself a favor and get this one! I also highly recommend her earlier ones including: Heft & The Unseen World. Long Bright River is amazing too. I'm about to start The God of the Woods and I am so excited, congrats Liz!!
I think this is my favorite book. Best I've ever read. Blew through it and then Long Bright River and am now reading The Unseen World, which is also fantastic. Liz Moore is in my top three favorite authors
Studios should focus more on adaptations of novels from these new and brilliant writers instead of rehashing old stuff. We don't need anymore King adaptations.
I'm shocked a streaming service hasn't contracted with a publisher/imprint to exclusively get the rights to their books. Imagine if Apple TV or Max had an agreement with Penguin or S&S. Normal People, Big Little Lies, Little Fires Everywhere, Nickel Boys, Nightbitch, Interior Chinatown, Dark Matter, Lessons in Chemistry, Killers of the Flower Moon, Daisy Jones, Eileen, the list goes on... You'd constantly have new material to choose from, with an already dedicated fan base and marketing segment to build on.
Dear Tonight Show media staff. Could you please turn on the Federation on your Threads account? (so you're visible in other social media too? like Flipboard or Mastodon) :)
I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (zoe), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!🇺🇲❣️♥️❤️
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Kate Elizabeth Becherer) so many people have recommended highly about her and am just starting with her 😊 from Brisbane Australia🇦🇺

Let's go Liz!!! That's my prof!!! It's been a long time coming!
Still reading The God of the Woods now! Also, she has a lovely voice, like a therapist.
"We did judge the book by its cover as well" This deserved more laughs

Twisty, tricky, terrific 💚🖤💓

Just finished the book! I can't recommend it enough! Beautiful novel. I wish I knew more people who'd read it because I have so much to talk about.

To the person reading this, even though I don't know you. I wish you the best of what life has to offer 🙏 😊
I asked my AI assistant to write a book. Its already written ready to be published. It took him aprox. 24 seconds 🤷♂😂
People still buy books 😂
Yeah and people still read too 😂 shocking right. You can tell who does and who does not.
